why do i get a message that firefox has crashed. what has happened. i am not satified with firefox. it is very slow and sometimes crashes.

but the main question is: what can i do right now.

When I used to take screenshots, they would be automatically named with the date, time, and part of the text captured regardless of language. A few days ago and with no reason I can discern, it now saves any non-English screenshots with something like this "Screenshot 2024-06-23 a[...].png" instead of "Screenshot 2024-06-22 at 08-02-28 Politics Policy Polit[...].png" (usual for English text and what I used to get with all languages).

Which means I have to manually rename screenshots. Does anyone know how I can fix this because I am working on a project with lots of screenshots for topics from different languages?

There is an issue with 3 extensions: 1. Briskine. 2. Simple Gmail notes. 3. Boomerang. This issue is taking place only when Briskine is active and only on Firefox.

When Briskine is active Simple Gmail notes does not display at all. Boomerang does not display correctly so there is no access to the full screen and options.

This only happens with Firefox, not with Chrome or Edge. Also, it is a know issue that's been going on for a while. I wish it could be fixed. Thank you Adam [removed phone# and email from public support forum]

Every time I open Firefox I get 3 pop up windows. 1. System is infected! Click here to scan and clean. Via.qowin.co.in 2. McAfee: System Alert! Click here to fix the error Via.qowin.co.in 3.McAfee: ZEUS.2020 Trojan detected Click here to delete the virus Via.qowin.co.in

I deleted McAfee. I cleared the cache. When Firefox opens it opens to qowin.co.in

How do I fix this?

how are shortcuts created on my "new tab" home page in firefox browser. I used to be able to create the shortcuts I wanted, not random shortcuts that I might have visited once. Now shortcuts appear that I don't want. I know I can remove them by dismissing them but I should not get them in the first place. Please help.

When im starting my computer, suddenly this program with old firefox logo auto starting on windows taskbar, i cant open(maximize) it....when i hover to that old firefox logo, it just shows random text......

If i'm opening task manager, that program or something is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\AlphaPress under the name update.exe.....i alrd close that program, delete that, and running malwarebytes, but didnt find any threat.....If u can reassure me that it wasnt dangerous malware or anything....maybe some real firefox update?

I have several g-mail accounts that I used to open on Firefox - until yesterday. Now I'm getting a silly message below:

I'm working on ASUS, on Windows 86bit. If I reboot my PC g-mail works again for a couple of hours. I have no problem accessing my g-mail accounts from Chrome.

Often, when I go to history and try to restore session..it is greyed out. it occurs randomly, but It ALWAYS occurs after an update. This is so frustrating! It never happened on Edge or Chrome, not once. I know it might seem Karen-like fuming about it, but when you have dozens of important tabs open and they don't restore you too will become a karen. I'm almost about to uninstall Firefox because of it

I am trying to view uploaded videos in to my work portal and when I try to view the video this is the error message I receive. I am running WIndows 10 on my desktop. My Windows is up to date and I have cleared all cookies and still not working. Please help. Thank you

I can't open Firefox browser. I get an error message, "Error: Platform version '127.0.1 is not compatible with minVersion > = 127.0 maxVersion < = 127.0"

I can only get Google Chrome.

As a longtime user of Firefox, I had a nice setup where after the start page, clicking on the Firefox icon would take me to a page headed "Firefox" in large letters. On that page I had placed the icons for my frequently used programs. Each of the small "icon boxes" had menus that would allow entering a URL so that when clicked, the desired app would open. I was exploring MS Bing, mostly because I like the pictures they put up each day. It looks as though a "new Improved" version of Bing brings along the new MS AI component. Together they seem to have removed my Firefox setup or hidden it where I can't retrieve it. By using Firefox settings, I was able to remove the Bing URL. Good riddance!, but can I retrieve my page of links to most-used programs? I don't know where to look for that. If I have to reconstruct it, how is that done. Or how can I start a replacement. After the last FF update, I can only connect to FF ... no other website! I did a system restore to an earlier date which seemed to make it worse. Absolutely zero content appears on any website I choose to go to. The tab shows the name of the website, however it doesn't "connect."

Please help me rectify this challenge. Thank you.

I would like to review a listing of all the extensions recommended by Mozilla for FF. One would think a list exists somewhere. But my searching for recommended extensions have not yielded the anticipated results. I found an article on the recommended extension program, but no list. If the answer is obvious, forgive me, but I didn't see it.

Did FireFox just officially do an Enhancer for YouTube...I got this on my Firefox screen. List 'what's new' and asks for donation...don't mind donating but is this a scam message or is it from FireFox?

Downloading MP3 files or Epub books using the Overdrive libraries' website API no longer works since the Firefox 115.120esr update.

For audiobooks, it appears to work normally at first, downloading an ODM file which can be opened to display a list of all the part files waiting to be downloaded. Taking the [Open] option within the Overdrive Media Console, the process fails, with this message: "A connection to the Internet could not be established. Please check your Internet connection; you must be connected to the Internet to proceed with this download."

For Epub books, it appears to work normally at first, downloading an acsm file, but then, when the open option on the file is selected the Adobe Digital Editions app, presents this message: "Connection Error Detected—Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet."

So it seems that not too much was broken. Have I provided enough information for you to know what's broken & how to fix it?

Dzień dobry, Po pierwsze chciałbym zapytać co mogło się wydarzyć- kilka dni temu po próbie otworzenia przeglądarki wyskoczył jakiś błąd, przez co musiałem zainstalować przeglądarkę jeszcze raz. Efektem tego jest usunięcie wszystkich zakładek i ustawień. Jeśli jest taka możliwość to prosiłbym o poradę w jaki sposób mógłbym przywrócić wcześniejsze ustawienia. Zacząłem ponownie dostosowywać przeglądarkę i napotkałem problem, a mianowicie po zainstalowaniu rozszerzenie nie pokazuje się on na górnym pasku jak miało to miejsce wcześniej. Jeśli nie ma możliwości przywrócenia wcześniejszych ustawień i zakładek to proszę o pomoc w dodaniu rozszerzenia do paska.
