Hi! Our email server recently migrated from Media Temple to Microsoft and, like many people, we are able to receive messages but not send them. I have gone through the process and updated both the SMTP and IMAP settings to no avail.

One support article says, "Per Microsoft documentation, administrators should visit https://login.microsoftonline.com/{tenant-id}/adminconsent?client_id=9e5f94bc-e8a4-4e73-b8be-63364c29d753 and grant the following permissions in order to authorize Mozilla Thunderbird: IMAP.AccessAsUser.All, POP.AccessAsUser.Al, SMTP.Send and offline_access."

I have followed those instructions and am still unable to send emails from our accounts. The only account able to both send and receive is our admin account. Does anyone know if there are additional settings that we need to configure in Thunderbird or does this need to be done in Microsoft Entra admin center?

Hi Thanks for providing this service. i have set up TB on new computer. i have followed the guide to transfer profile and local folder to new computer. I was expecting all the mailbox folders that I have saved emails etc. would have been transferred during that process. Please help with a step by step process to transfer these folders. Want to install v91.1.2 - v115 is buggy

Tried installing v115 latest on Ubuntu. Hangs when I try to set up email acc and it tries to log into the Gmail server. "Danger ahead" displayed on page with no option to force it to proceed.

Thus please dispense with any solutions for this and just inform how I can install v91.1.2 using apt-get

I see you list the versions but I see no where on how to specify which version to install.

I do not want to use dragon drop because I might want to do a number of them so how do I simply move an individual email into a storage folder

I downloaded Thunderbird 120 and installed. All I get is error message saying windows is searching for thunderbird.exe and nothing else. Old version has disappeared and I can not uninstall - get same searching for uninstall.exe. I have tried re-downloading it and re-installing it 4 or 5 times, still nothing. help please.

Restore after drive failure windows 11

Windows 11 root drive failed. With new drive and fresh install I reloaded my email from back-up and all went well!

Of course I lost email between last back-up and drive failure (as expected). I have subsequently been able to recover data from the failed drive and I can see the data from the time between back-up and drive failure.

Is there any mechanism to merge those message back into my active mail storage?

Thunderbird version 115.12.2 (64 bit).

I got a new computer (still a Mac like my old one) but evertime I try to import any OpenPGP keys, I just get an error that says “Error! Failed to import key.” and nothing else. I’ve directly exported my onw personla key from my thunderbird on my old laptop, put it on a thumb drive, tranfered it over to this one, and still I can’t open it.

Hi, I am running TB 115.12.1 without any extensions. I have configured caldav accounts, on Forwardemail servers, on TB as well as on Android with DAV5x. Everything syncs without errors and most calendar entries are visible on TB, but not all!!! I have installed OneCalendar app along side TB and OneCalendar shows all calendar entries (as far as I can tell)!

Has anyone experienced similar issues? Any ideas how I can procede would be v welcome. What are the known issues with calendars on TB115.12.1?
