Quest Live has loaded onto the home page. I prefer to get away from that company. I want to use only the Firefox & Google. How do I change what has loaded onto this search engine?

Also I have hotmail through Google. How do I load this onto the Firefox engine? Please help! Thanks.

Is Quest your internet service provider (ISP)? Software that you installed for Quest may have a "homepage changer" script for popular web browsers included in that software. Too damn many ISP's insist that their users install relatively useless software (IMO) and then take the liberty of having it change certain prefs in web browsers that they shouldn't be messing with (IMO). It's like they charge you $75/month for the privilege of using their service, and then they want to collect a fraction of a cent from a search engine or other web page for delivering their users to those web page every time their users open a web browsers. Unethical SOB's - (IMO).

Do you have an programs related to Quest Live showing in the Add / Remove section of your Windows Control Panel? If so, you might want to consider removing it / them, if you aren't using it / them.

Bottom line is that something changing the default homepage in Firefox. You can try resetting your homepage, but that "something" might reset it again when you start your PC up the next time.
