I have this strange bug in FF4.

When displaying a very (very) long web page, it will produce a black bar across a section of the screen (when you scroll down far enough). Scrolling up and down causes the bar to change size or move up and down in the document slightly. Changing focus causes the entire screen to go blank until you scroll up or down again.

I have confirmed it is not related to hardware acceleration nor addons - it occurs regardless.

I have confirmed it is a length related issue. I can (to within one line) determine how long the page must be to see the glitch. If I change the length of the page (by enlarging or shrinking font size) the glitch will come and go so it is very clearly based on displayed page length.

I have tested this on two different computers, one running openSUSE and one running vista - different os, drivers, hardware etc - only commonality is FF4.

This does NOT happen in older versions of FF nor other browsers (IE, Chrome, Safari).

Anyone else notice anything like this?
