Despite literally hours of frustrating -- now infuriating -- effort, my inbox won't show "from," which was removed by the most recent update. Is this problem fixable? If so, how? (If not, I'm damn well going to dump Thunderbird.)

i have 2 desk top windows 10 comps and an ipad and i phone which all share the same email address. 1 comp works fine, the other desktop and ipad will send emails but not receive them, the iphone can send emails and sometimes receives them but not all the time. IMAP port 993 and ssl/tls with normal password. Disabling Avast anti virus did not fix it. any ideas?

In the past, I could click on an email address and drag it into a new subfolder I'd made (let's say for emails to a group about baking). Easy as pie!

Sorry for the bad pun.

Now, when I try to click and drag, it will NOT go into that subfolder. I looked in Help and there were answers about csv files, about a horizontal or vertical view, etc. None of that made sense to me.

So I'm wondering if it's still somehow an easy thing to do, to duplicate someone's email in one or more other folders. It seems like it should be! Thanks, Su

I just noticed (after 7 yrs) I have Thunderbird(beta) 32 bit on my laptop windows 10 (64 bit machine) and Thunderbird 64 bit on my desk top Windows 10 (64 bit machine). How do I get the 64 bit Thunderbird on the laptop without loosing all my settings to login to my 4 email accounts?

I back up my TB profile every few months. I just went thru the Cox-Yahoo email conversion and I am getting emails. When I did my back up, I noticed in the properties it had one more folder and the files went from 1311 to 2585 files. Is something wrong? Do I need to compare and research what is causing this or just move on!

After some intermittent problems, hopefully solved, I am now left with one main problem. When I send an email to agmail eddress it fails, saying something about SPF having a hard fail and no DDKM, whatever that means. If I send emails from webmail ro my iPad they get through. Can this be solved, please?

I would like to set up an email account with a pen name that I am using as an author. Is there a way to do that without giving my actual credentials? Thanks for your kind attention.

At our clinic when we cannot answer client calls it goes to voicemail. The voicemail the should be sent to our email and transcribed, however it hasn’t been. It leaves us with the only option to play voicemails aloud while clients are going in and out of the lobby, which we find unprofessional. Please help us fix this!

On powering up my PC this morning, opened Thunderbird and everything was gone - email settings to my various accounts, settings, calendar, addresses etc nothing is left at all

All I have is a basic screen : "To set up your existing email address" etc

I've been trying to get Thunderbird (102.6.0) to filter messages based on message body contents that contain specific URLs (such as "https://docsend.com"), but it's not working. I even tried setting emails to be viewed in plain text (as opposed to HTML), but that also didn't work.

How can I achieve this?

Hi, my Thunderbird has brought down 279 emails from Gmail. I opened Gmail and found the emails properly in the Trash folder. So it appears that Thunderbird is bringing down all folders??? I've been a user for years and never notice downloads from spam or trash before. New change to Tbird? Is there some way to exclude spam and trash folders from download? My version is 115.11.1 (64-bit) TYIA Richard

I'm trying to change my signature on an account I've had for sometime. It lets me make the changes I want and when I try sending a message it works fine. However when I close Thunderbird down and re open it, the signature has reverted to the previous version. I can't see any option to save the changes to the account settings so they'll still be there next time.

I've tried it 2 ways - firstly editing the HTML signature text, and secondly attaching instead a signature file. In both cases it works fine until I close and re-open.

Compact folders: caused a saved draft email to disappear. Closing and re-opening Thunderbird resolves this. Suggest the help document https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/compacting-folders-potential-complications be updated to advise this solution (before the user raises an issue). How does this message get to someone who can action this?

I just downloaded and installed Thunderbird.... I fire it up and the "three lines" button I need to click to add my email account details does nothing. So the software is not doing much at the moment. I don't know what to do. I uninstalled. Restarted...and reinstalled...but this did not work. What am I doing wrong here?

Yahoo Mail was down for HOURS last night. When it comes back up overnight, I can login to my secondary emails (Yahoo.com) but the correct password for rshearin@verizon.net responds "server error"

Yahoo washes their hands of it because it's a "third party app."

We don't know our password. We are not receiving emails. We have searched our password and it has confirmed it as the same we have written down. However, this does not work. Where do we go from here?

Thunderbird is blocking some outgoing mail. If I start with a file, right click, send to mail recipient; the message is blocked as spam with this diagnostic: Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Spam detected by content scanner. Message rejected (ID 6661B68A00783926). Please check the message and try again.

But, if I start with Thunderbird Write and attach the same file, there are no problems and the message is sent.

I recently got a new PC with WINDOWS 10 and loaded Thunderbird to pick up my email. However, now the mail client keeps making new profile folders, which I keep trying to delete. I am up to 6 now. THey are all in my deleted section of my Local Folders. How do I remove them for good. I thought all deleted items were supposed to disappear once you close the program, no? I never had to even deal with Profile Folders on my older PC. Thank oyu for your assistance.
