I use Thunderbird on my iMac Sonoma 14.6 with the M1-Chip I mistyped an adress while writing an E-Mail and sent the Mail. Returned realized the Mistake and corrected the adress. ›ow, every time I want to write a Mail to the recepient I am offered both adresses. I Allready deleted the wrong spelling from my Contacts-App, but still ... I tried "search adress", but there I do find only the correct one.

What can I do to delete the adress I don't want to confuse me any longer? Thank you for your help!

With the latest Thunderbird update (128.1.0esr) I am seeing frequent "not responding" situations. It eventually does come back. Am I doing something wrong? I am on a PC running Windows 10.

my head is spinning with trying to understand. i changed the authentication to oauth2 but can't seem to find out whats wrong and my dislexia is making it so hard to figure out.

My colleague, like me has been using Thunderbird for years, thank you. He has just purchased a new printer (Epson 2200) and he can no longer print any emails. Clicking on print brings up the box with 'Save to pdf' the ony option. We have gone into Troubleshooting Information and the printer appears in the print_printer line. We have also tried clearing the 'Clear saved print settings'. After we restart TB, no change, still unable to print with 'save to pdf' the only option. We have removed and reistalled the printer, which will print anything else outside of TB.

TB is up to date with the Nebula version. Windows 11 on new Acer Laptop.

Hi, I am closing down an old email address because they are now charging me for it. I was advised to use Thunderbird so I signed up and am now receiving emails to thunderbird from my xtra.co.nz email address. However, it hasn't brought over my saved folders from my xtra.co.nz app. Someone suggested I need to change to imap, but do not know where to find this and not sure if I do it in Thunderbird or the xtra mail app or both. Looking for instructions on on how I can bring my existing folders from my xtra.co.nz mail into Thunderbird?

Using Thunderbird 128.1.0.esr (64 bit)

I have an IMAP account. Under Settings_Copies & Folders I have the option 'Place replies in the folder of the message being replied to' checked.

After sending a message Thunderbird can't save it to that locvation. I get the option to save to a local folder.

Subsequently I then try to move or copy the email to my desired IMAP folder. This fails with no error message - the email stays in the Local Folder.

How can I resolve this?

Yahoo Acnt. #1 messages being duplicated in Yahoo Acnt. #2 in Thunderbird ONLY

I have tested, and tested and tested. Checked settings EVERYWHERE. Delete and removed, reinstalled, etc. etc. etc.

Additionally, Thunderbird will NOT retrieve inbox messages from YAHOO for account #2

I would like to connect to Suddenlink.net via Optimum.net. It does show up on Optimum.net account on web page. I have a screen shot of the constant results of my days of efforts. I have two other connections via gmail.com and it works fine. I have people who are still using Suddenlink emails to me and I would like to see them on Thunderbird. Nyc.rr.com cannot send email I can receive email. Everything seems to be set correctly as you can see in the screenshot. Please help. This is a new pc that I am trying to setup. Thank You

The latest rev is VERY slow (several seconds) compared to prior revs to process email changes within INBOX (OPEN, MOVE, DELETE, etc.)

Something new is going on internally to the program while the hour-glass appears for a few seconds more than before (I did not change any settings w/ latest upgrades).

I have got many thousands of emails. From time to time my inbox gets full enough for a warning sign to come up - so I have a clean up by deleting and/or saving to a folder within "local folders" and I regularly clean out my deleted folders and recompact.

However in the last few days I have been getting a warning tab come up saying "75% full" fairly randomly - in other words it seems to be independent of whatever folder is active at the time.

Does Thunderbird have a maximum capacity including all local folders? There are many emails (including attachments, of course) which I do not want to delete whether for archive or for nostalgic reasons.

If there is a maximum overall capacity is there any way of "exporting" folders of emails with their attachments to free up space for the program but leaving me able to invoke these emails should the need or occasion arise?

I am using Mac OS Ventura 13.6.9. I have been a Thunderbird user for many years. Since this last update, I have started having issues where not all emails are displaying. Seems like most recent emails open correctly, but when I get to emails that are a day or 2 old, I get the the following banner across the top of the screen when the email opens, but can't open the remainder of the email.

I have attached a screenshot to show what I am seeing.

I am using gmail and I can access the emails in gmail, but not in Thunderbird. What is the fix for this?

A few times now I've had a batch of incoming e-mails where the date, sender, header information are all there but the body of the e-mail shows: FXCG9w89iTyF8D70T5uihi9D instead of the message. I don't know what this means or why it happens. Can you explain and help me find a solution?

PDF Viewer just loads a white screen on the 130.0b1 (64-bit) build, I have to manually save the pdfs and open them with another program.

I have restarted TB several times, restarted the computer, checked for any and all malicous firmware and still its not working

Do you know, why Thunderbird does not display message content or displays strange characters? We only have this problem on one computer. On the other everything is OK.

I had a hard drive failure and cannot load Thunderbird on the failed drive, therefore I cannot find my profile. I can see and read all the files on the drive, is my Profile in there somewhere, there is no "Users" directory

Some of my incoming emails have started to appear as unreadable machine code, after many trouble free years, the problem just started in the last few weeks. Using Win11, and TB automatically updated.
