Hi, my Thunderbird has brought down 279 emails from Gmail. I opened Gmail and found the emails properly in the Trash folder. So it appears that Thunderbird is bringing down all folders??? I've been a user for years and never notice downloads from spam or trash before. New change to Tbird? Is there some way to exclude spam and trash folders from download? My version is 115.11.1 (64-bit) TYIA Richard

I'm trying to change my signature on an account I've had for sometime. It lets me make the changes I want and when I try sending a message it works fine. However when I close Thunderbird down and re open it, the signature has reverted to the previous version. I can't see any option to save the changes to the account settings so they'll still be there next time.

I've tried it 2 ways - firstly editing the HTML signature text, and secondly attaching instead a signature file. In both cases it works fine until I close and re-open.

Hello I am running 115.12.0 Firefox ESR June 11, 2024 release 64 bit on Windows 7 Professional 64bit. Which I still have to use till I can afford a new PC in a few months.

When I have a streaming youtube music link open when I try to open another tab the Music Stops playing and Video Freezes and cant have the audio in the background continue.

I have tried several Add-on's that are suppose to fix it they do not work. Have also tried the following about:config edits

widget.windows.window_occlusion_tracking.enabled set to false and media.block-autoplay-until-in-foreground set to false Before these would fix the issue till the update to the above update now they no longer work.

Have also tried using the Troubleshoot Mode which makes no difference.

I can't open Firefox browser. I get an error message, "Error: Platform version '127.0.1 is not compatible with minVersion > = 127.0 maxVersion < = 127.0"

I can only get Google Chrome.

Please advise

I'm having trouble with settings in Firefox (Android 13), running on a Google Pixel 5 phone. The settings screen is unreadable (all empty/white), apart from section headings. Please see the attached screenshot.

Thanks to anyone who can help, as this issue makes it hard to change preferences.

Compact folders: caused a saved draft email to disappear. Closing and re-opening Thunderbird resolves this. Suggest the help document https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/compacting-folders-potential-complications be updated to advise this solution (before the user raises an issue). How does this message get to someone who can action this?

I just downloaded and installed Thunderbird.... I fire it up and the "three lines" button I need to click to add my email account details does nothing. So the software is not doing much at the moment. I don't know what to do. I uninstalled. Restarted...and reinstalled...but this did not work. What am I doing wrong here?

I really appreciate everything you do, but I am a boomer (Loud and Proud), I did not get born with a device attached to my hand, I am a digital imbecile.

With all that in mind, it has become too difficult to keep up with the digitalisation, at least in my case. So when you send me suggestions and update procedures I end up just closing everything, too much to read, too stressing, but the suggestions keep coming every time I open the firefox browser. Can I not just keep the version I have and decline any new versions.

I also have a problem in regard to language, it is set to English, but I do not care for US English, I would like to have GB English, but somehow it won't accept that.

What can I do?

Corel asked me to do a screen shot of the issue: Attached When I look at the changed screen, There is an icon infront of the Web address line that looks like a robot. When I rollover it this statement comes up: Browser is under remote control reason (Dev Tools) All of the address bar is inpink. daThis is still frustrating. I do not like to use the browser when something else appears to be in control. I have MacAFee and run a scan but nothing shows up? If developers are following my browser, I should beable to turn this off.

Yahoo Mail was down for HOURS last night. When it comes back up overnight, I can login to my secondary emails (Yahoo.com) but the correct password for rshearin@verizon.net responds "server error"

Yahoo washes their hands of it because it's a "third party app."

I enter my username & password and nothing happens. This occurs when I use Dashlane AND also if I enter username & password manually.

I can access my account successfully using Edge.

We don't know our password. We are not receiving emails. We have searched our password and it has confirmed it as the same we have written down. However, this does not work. Where do we go from here?

Thunderbird is blocking some outgoing mail. If I start with a file, right click, send to mail recipient; the message is blocked as spam with this diagnostic: Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Spam detected by content scanner. Message rejected (ID 6661B68A00783926). Please check the message and try again.

But, if I start with Thunderbird Write and attach the same file, there are no problems and the message is sent.

When I used to take screenshots, they would be automatically named with the date, time, and part of the text captured regardless of language. A few days ago and with no reason I can discern, it now saves any non-English screenshots with something like this "Screenshot 2024-06-23 a[...].png" instead of "Screenshot 2024-06-22 at 08-02-28 Politics Policy Polit[...].png" (usual for English text and what I used to get with all languages).

Which means I have to manually rename screenshots. Does anyone know how I can fix this because I am working on a project with lots of screenshots for topics from different languages?

I recently got a new PC with WINDOWS 10 and loaded Thunderbird to pick up my email. However, now the mail client keeps making new profile folders, which I keep trying to delete. I am up to 6 now. THey are all in my deleted section of my Local Folders. How do I remove them for good. I thought all deleted items were supposed to disappear once you close the program, no? I never had to even deal with Profile Folders on my older PC. Thank oyu for your assistance.

I seem to have lost the search bar that allowed me to find certain emails in specific folders. I am now left with the one that searches all my email folders. Why? How do I get it back?

I have a full current installation of Firefox, after a struggle to get Bing off my system (Win11) I briefly got back to a personalized start page which had a large text "Firefox" heading and allowed me to add apps in small boxes and click to start an app. That page has disappeared and all I get is the ad referred to in the title. How can I replace the ad with the page I can load with app icons?
