I set up a Primary Password, but I can easily get around it by clicking 'cancel' then clicking 'home' icon. then I can get into ANY of the links. For others who have access to my computer NOT having that access is Exactly why I set up Primary password in the first place. Surely there must be a way to fix this???? haas2128@comcast.net Thanks. I don't know where the problem lies. I have a number of videos on youtube and when I was doing some work in markdown I clicked on an older link and was redirected to a website with some bozo trying to promote something - not mine. I tried a few more times and got a bunch of different websites and bozos. This is from clicking on the shared link on the the youtube page.

I don't know whether I've something on my computer, your browser that's causing it, or something somehow on youtube????

Got any suggestions?

Including a screen shot of the each clicks results.

My update preference for Firefox is to download but I will install it. But it consistenly (over the last numerous updates) changes it to Automatic. I do not want Automatic updates. I want to control when it updates. I do not see this issue addressed anywhere. I have checked numerous times. Please help! My sincere thank you for your time and attention to my request for help. I have Firefox set to reopen everything that was open when it closed. That only seemed to work if I had one window open, but I usually have a half dozen or more open with anywhere from a few tabs to well over 100 tabs in a window. The most reliable way I found to have those all reopen was to restart my computer. Firefox would be closed, but next time I opened it all the windows and tabs were there again. I needed to close Firefox a few minutes ago and didn't want to save all the other programs I was in the middle of, so (I thought I had done this before) I right-clicked the Firefox icon on the Taskbar and told it to close all windows. When I opened Firefox the next time it only opened one window (unfortunately the least important one), and only had two other windows in the History | Recently Closed Windows (also not very important windows). Are there any backup or other files where I could get back the other windows I had open? Unfortunately if I have a tab open for a month, for example, it is not saved in today's tabs, and it's not feasible to scroll back through thousands of listings in the history trying to figure out which tabs I had open. Thank you for any assistance!

This URL below will return a XML file in Edge/chrome but not in Firefox. I use Joomla as a CMS and it's extensions to display a RSS feed worked fine in both browsers until a couple of months ago. I've tried with a vanilla Mozilla/FF with all extensions disabled but still will not return the XML file

Hey I registered for sync Mozilla. After each lunch I have message windows pass code...Its really irritating me. How to leave passcode (becouse I want to protecs my passcodes manager settings ) and have turned on passcode windows just when I need pass code manager. Please fix it at next updates

I've been having an issue lately where random text I've written is being inserted into other areas of my paragraphs in online text blocks. This mainly happens when I hop between paragraphs and try to edit content.

IE: If I wrote this statement and went back to correct something above, this sentence would "somehow" get added into the spot where I'm editing. It makes NO sense and is only happening within Firefox. Is there a way to fix it? I've noticed this happening on both Facebook and Indeed now too...so, I think it could be more of an issue with Firefox than certain sites.

I work with multiple sites that have Dish Network SmartBox systems. These have a user interface that is an unsecured web interface. I connect to them directly with my laptop when I need to change the configurations. Recently, Firefox no longer lets me continue to these unsecured sites. I end up having to use Chrome. What do I need to change to get the option to continue to unsecured web addresses? I attached a picture of how it works in Chrome.

Recently (in the last 2 weeks or so) when I go to the Web app of my password keeper, Dashlane, I am not able to click on the drop down box "My Account" and get any response - nothing happens. I have multiple Dashlane Friends & Family accounts that I switch between frequently. I have to go back to the icon on my toolbar in order to log out. This is happening on all 3 of my computers.

The weird thing is that when I use Chrome, open the web app and click the "My Account" box on all 3 computers, Dashlane works perfectly. Is there an issue that has been created by your recent update to Firefox?

Please help. It's very frustrating.

Just recently been getting yahoo search engine results to open in new tabs rather than the same tab. I have searched for other users that have the same problem and have done the tracking protection thing and deleted cookies, but nothing helped. Also tried Troubleshooting Mode and it still persists. Any other ideas that may help? I'd appreciate it.

I often like to have 2 browser windows open with multiple tabs going on each window. Recently, however I noticed that whenever I watch a video in full screen mode on one monitor then I switch focus to the second browser window to do other various activities, the video playing on the other monitor will sometimes exit out of full screen mode and continue playing in the original embedded small screen size. So far I've tried disabling all but the most essential extensions, put the theme back to the default mode, made sure my graphics card is fully updated, and even attempted a few setting changes people have recommended for fixing similar issues, but nothing seems to work.

As of right now, the only workaround would be to use the picture in a picture mode and put that to full screen, but that isn't ideal as picture in picture mode is set to be "always on top". I could also use a different browser, like Chome on my second monitor which doesn't seem to cause the video to exit full screen mode, but again, I typically prefer to use firefox for most things online.

Anyway, I'm now out of ideas on what to try to get firefox to behave in the way I want it to.

FIrefox view I think has a lot of potential. Especially with the release of Ai. It could be a fantastic home page type setup.

Currently though, I would like to use it as a tab manager.

Is there a way to access it via keyboard? If not, can it please receive a keybinding? It seems like a very very small thing to add.

I would like to use my browser in a different way.

Hello, I need help to know how to limit the shortcuts of the visited sites to those that I use ordinarily and not to all and also how to ensure that the dark mode remains and I do not have to correct it every time I open the browser. All of my windows and tabs are gone. Dozens of windows each with a dozen or more tabs. History shows many items older that 6 months . but does not remember any previous sessions.
