I use windows 10 Pro as the main synching device to synch Firefox to my iPhone ver. 14 and ninth generation iPad. Neether the iPhone or iPad will synch. Seems like the changing of the guard in management has screwed things up that were working a few days ago.

Hi! I do not want more cookies than "necessary". So I reject, make settings etc. And I clean them automatically when closing Firefox, just in case. On some sites that I visit very often, this turns out very tedious and timeconsuming. How to allow only necessary cookies and not the rest? With Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data, Manage Exceptions, I can allow or block cookies from specific sites. What do I allow when I choose Allow? Only the ticked ones or all marketing and other stuff even when these are not preticked as default? Or will the choices made during this session be saved? In the case of my bank and a couple of others, I would like to save my choices to be able to enter it a little faster. But cleaning at closing Firefox also deletes that, I suppose? How to save my choices without saving all cookies?

Is there any way to see what kind of cookies have been saved? I can see the number of cookies for each site under Manage Data, but how to see the type of cookie?

MS Windows 11 just updated (02/14/24) and now Firefox keeps giving me the 'Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.

 <Close Firefox>  <Cancel>.  Task Manager is showing three Firefox activities at the same time.  This problem is only on my Admin user account.   The two other local account run Firefox fine.  Any help, suggestions directions?

Using: PC W11 [v 10.0.22631 Build 22631] & Mozilla Firefox v122.0.1 (64-bit)

When visiting HP.com - US-English site and signing in to my account, it opens fine - in English - but if I click on links, it connects to sites in a different link. I tried it on Microsoft Edge and it worked fine. It's only on Firefox that I have the problem.

I don't know in which version exactly it happened but a few weeks earlier i was able to edit cookies like we can on all other browsers, but today suddenly i cannot.

I expected it to be a simple double-click and i can edit the cookie key name or value but it doesn't let me edit, it opens the detailed view about that cookie. I looked EVERYWHERE and could NOT find any way to edit the cookies for hours and this is really frustrating as a dev. This is important to troubleshoot many kinds of bugs when I am developing an app.

After a recent Microsoft update, FF Picture-in-picture now broken. Will not detach from viewer, instead expands much larger beyond screen. Attempts to restore pauses video. Problem not just in YouTube. FF; 122.0.1, W11; OS build 22621.3155

since this morning, my gmail account doesn't work when I use Firefox on my laptop. After accepting my email address and password, it says that my account is temporarily unavailable (see annex).

But my Google account works perfectly with Edge on the laptop and on my smartphone and tablet.

The problem remains even after restarting the laptop and launching CCleaner

Jak go kliknę to nie podpowiada żadnego hasła ale jest on widoczny automatycznie a nie chcę żeby był widoczny. Everytime I look up something and it has a map attached to it and I click on the map, I get Google Map or MapQuest and the map is there for 3 seconds and then it looks like the attached picture. So I open up maps in its own tab and type in the address and I get same results. But if I use either of them in edge, I have no problems. I only have Mate Translate on in add ons. So I have no idea what is going on. I reset cache as I had read that from a post (though their issue was similar but not the same) I would appreciate any and all help you can give me. TYIA

Hey! I use Firefox to create my websites, but the browser no longer saves (file:///C:/sukujut/list_1/Mattimakinen.htm) htm data and images. It only stores small files and image quantities, but not the size I need (e.g. 22mt). I create an htm file and an image file through family stories, open them in the Firefox browser, and after the page opens, I save them as a web page, the whole thing - in a Microsoft Expression Web program file. At this point, if the file is even slightly larger, it will save the htm file, but not the image file at all. A warning triangle appears next to the save button and the message: download failed. Mattimakinen.htm - download failed - local file.

I have reinstalled firefox, no help. The browser saves the plain htm file, but not with the photos. I am currently doing genealogy and an important area is photographs.

Our website have "cross-origin isolation" setup, more exactly included the following in response header:

Cross-Origin-Embedder-Policy: credentialless Cross-Origin-Opener-Policy: same-origin

but now, the youtube video which is embeded in iframe is not working(blocked)!

How to solve this problem?

In the past two days, any add-on I add to FF browser. does not have a "Pin" option ellipsis activated . Some of my other settings are also botched up: tab used to open on hitting "return" among them.

All comments etc, are either convoluted, unintelligible, and ALL do not address this issue. If someone knows what to do, chime in. many of us have this issue. But please, have a real solution or don't bother us.

For a few months now, on different sites, the backround is fully black on black text and I can't use it at all, so I have to enter on Chrome to use it. I tried reseting the cache and booting in safe mode, but it doesn't seem to work. I changed things like themes and made the site be able to choose its own, but nothing seems to work. One option I found online but I'm not to happy to try is to make another profile, but I have all my passwords and bookmarks on this profile.

I want to disable Norton Safe Search. I followed Inst. Menu, add ons, extension tab, clicked the 3 dots & then delete. Restarted my computer, but it's still there. I definitely need help.
