I have a persistent problem. On websites that require me to use Google Authenticator or a proprietary app (my bank), Firefox requires me to authenticate whenever I start a new session.

Both bank and other websites say I should only have to authenticate once on a new device.

I have no problem staying logged in to other websites so I don't think it's a cookie issue.

The problem appears to only be on my Windows PC, I'm not being asked to reauthenticate in FF on my android phone.

Everything is latest version, problem has bee around for many months.

Hi all. For several years now I have noticed one problem: when I want to go to a page from my bookmarks, the browser simply refreshes the current page. I'm on some website and I want to open my bookmark in the same tab, so as not to open a new tab. But the site is simply updated and the bookmark is not navigated. Browser version 127.0.2 macos M1

After following a link from a Google search to Facebook, my language on the Facebook login page was permanently changed to Polish. This only applies to this page and the language settings in Firefox are still correct. How do I change back?

I get the following message whenever I try to login on my PNC bank:

To protect your security secure.pnc.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it.

Can't import ".p12" certificate in Firefox in Fedora 40, it fail with the message "unknown error". I can open it with the built-in tools as well with the Gnome certificate manager. I did try as well a different certificate with the same result. Both I can import in Chromium, installed as Flatpak.

I'm having a problem where certain websites does not show up as shortcuts on the startpage. Like for example reddit.com or twitter.com does not appear even though I visit those pages often and more than any other page. It doesn't make sense that a random website shows up immediately as I visit it once, but not the websites I visit often. So I have to type in manually in the search bar to get there instead of just clicking the shortcut on the startpage.

I COULD pin the websites on the startpage, but the pictures only show up as the automated pictures such as "R" or "T" for Reddit and Twitter respectively. I'm also having problems using my own pictures for the shortcuts and I'd rather fix the problem instead of having to pin websites as shortcuts. It also looks a bit ugly in my opinion.

This started happening after I switched Microsoft accounts on my PC and started using Firefox on another user account. By the time I switched, I was logged into the same account on two different users on my PC, and I synchronized several times. That other logged in user is now removed from my Firefox account and I also completely deleted the other user on my PC to free up space. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and deleted all the files on my PC, but it still doesn't work. I have checked in about:profiles and it says there is a "default-release" and "default" profile.

Regular download works fine, but when I try to download attachment in outlook.live.com website, it didn't ask me where to store it, but simply places it in my default location, while at the same time opening the attachment even though I only want to download the file.

I cannot access any part of my account. The recovery key does not work and my Dashlane password does not work. I have tried many times to recover but have gotten nowhere. This is very frustrating and I cannot use the product I paid for.

I've just started using Firefox, and a few things have caught my eye. Is there a way to disable this? I don't want to see it every time I go full screen. It wasn't very noticeable in my previous browser because it was small and dark-colored.

I've noted that latest version Firefox browser 128.0 64 bit does allow me to watch any NESN games baseball, football, basketball etc. Even private mode doesn't work. So something really got messed up big time. I have no problem whatsoever when I use the Microsoft Edge browser.

Every time Firefox updates it keeps re-enabling settings on its own.

Specifically 2 settings on the general tab keep enabling themselves in the "browsing" section, "Recommend extensions as you browse" and "Recommend features as you browse"

I have disabled these settings dozens of times now, and every time Firefox updates it keeps re-enabling these 2 settings on its own.

Just now I updated to v128.0 and these 2 settings turned themselves on again.

Why is Firefox not respecting my settings? Why is Firefox allowed to modify my settings without my permission?

I have deleted and reinstalled Firefox already. I don't use profiles and am not signed into the browser, so no settings are getting carried over that way.

I have had issues where I am trying to open a new page or refresh a page and it stays at the bottom of the page. Example the Firefox help pages where I scroll to bottom click on the next page number, and it goes to that page but stays at bottom. Or if on Hibid and want to look at a listing, look at the listing and then want to go back to the previous page, it opens the listing at the bottom of the page, not the top. Sometimes it will open the new page where ever it wants
