Hey guys,

Can you please tell me how to get my extensions to appear on the toolbar? As you can see from the image (titled "forFirefox03"), only one is shown.

The images (titled "forFirefox01" and "forFirefox02") show all the extensions that I would like to have on the toolbar.

I've included the "About Firefox" (titled "forFirefox04") to show you which browser version I have.

I don't know if I need to show you the title names, but I'm used to Microsoft Answers, where I can put the images between the text, and here, I can't, so I'm assuming I have to show you them as names and images.

I have news max as my default home page . it did this once before on Firefox and i thought i fixed it it works on Chrome. I tried clearing cookies and syill get this why

Having hundreds of opened tabs across many windows and 3 separate desktops , I can not find tab that suddenly become active. Particular Icon of active desktop icon and active window icon and list of tabs specific icon should be flashing to make easy to find transmitting/active Icon/tab in ‘Firefox’.

Before, when I would restart Firefox, windows (not tabs, those get restored fine) would be restored to whichever desktop they were previously on. So if I had 2 desktops and one Firefox window in each, on restart the windows would be assigned to their respective desktops. Now, however, both windows always get reassigned to the first desktop.

Is there a problem with downloading from streaming services? I noticed that Chrome had a similar problem to mine. Since about last Saturday, I cannot download MSNBC and other programing on YouTube TV -new shows (Live or Recorded) from YouTube TV. Sometimes there is an error - "there was an error licensing this video". Sometimes it is just a revolving circle that never completes. The programs appear fine on my son's cable. The "about" says that Firefox is up to date and Windows 10 did a cumulative update on 8/13 but streaming worked fine at least through 8/22.

Last week I deleted my browsing history, I had don't so since 2023, sadly I just found out that I need to restore a number of those close pages, I found the same topic on the site however it's from 2020 :

1. Click "Start" > "Search" > "Tools" > "Folder Options." 2. Click "View" > select "Show hidden files and folders" > uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" and "Hide protected operating system files". 3. Click search in "All Files and Folders" in the C Drive > type index.dat in search bar > click "Search". 4. Download and install index.dat file reader on your PC if you don't have one. 5. Open index.dat file within the reader > Click on the Firefox browsing history you want to restore > Click "Restore". Then you can open your Firefox browser to check all your restored history now.

I followed the above steps until nr 5, it does not show me any data on firefox

Like others here and on the internet, the constantly-returning Firefox desktop shortcut is driving me crazy. I've finally just decided to uninstall Firefox and go with Chrome. Maybe in a year I'll check back and see if this bizarre problem is still plaguing Firefox.

Windows SSO Has been enabled and working for about two weeks but today randomly it is now prompting me for my login information again and the device compliance or AAD Join status is not passed through to Azure Sign-in Logs.

I am on Version 129.0.2, I know it came out recently but I dont think I updated today or atleast I wasnt aware it did.

I am having a reoccurring problem with the Credit Card auto fill. Until fairly recently, the auto fill feature worked just fine. However, for the past two months, I have been having troubles with it.

Auto fill option show up when a credit card payment form is on the page. I click the card I desire to use (I only have one, so it makes it simple) and no information is populated into the form. I repeat it several times, and nothing happens. I am left having to enter the card info manually.

I know, not a big deal (First world problem), but it is a nuisance for a tool that used to work great.

Just thought you folks would want to know. -Chris

The autofill function works great for forms and applications but not so much when I'm entering online contests. When they ask me for my TikTok, Instagram, or Twitter username, it will not autofill those. I always have to do it myself in FireFox. But Microsoft Edge doesn't have that problem. Why doesn't it remember what I type in for those types of entries?

Hello Everyone! I have been using Firefox (and a computer!)since about 2004! I am also well past my 'sell-by' date and would appreciate if any details are included in a reply, that they are explicit, my technical ability is around "O" ish!

Suddenly, a couple of months ago, my Emails in FireFox started opening to the right of the main 'panel' and were foreshortened.

Replying to any of them reduces the visible reply area to either one or two lines of text, making it difficult to see and be able to judge any editing.

I have been using Facebook Messenger to video chat with my close friends and family in UK and as I live outside UK, I have found this necessary. Firefox has just stopped allowing this facility. I now have had to install a different browser to be able to carry on this method of communication.

With all these difficulties, I am considering uninstalling Firefox, which I am unsure about any longer.

If there is/are any advice or suggestions, I would be grateful to see it or them.

Hi there, I don't know if it was from a recent update to Firefox or to Avast passwords but the Passwords extension will not install. I've been in contact with Avast and tried uninstalling Firefox, Avast Premium Security, Avast Passwords and tried re-installing them but nothing has fixed the issue. Previously the extension wasn't working in Chrome and I couldn't reinstall it, but I have managed to reinstall it and it is working in Chrome now. I'd prefer to use Firefox if I can get it working there again.

This is the error message that comes up when I try installing it, and the install fails (in Firefox).

the internet has many sites that say that firefox has an auto fill in form with password, but it is not included in settings. How do I get it? I am tired of typing in my email address on web pages.
