I have been using CSS to change the looks in websites for a while. First, I use the 'inspect' function and then permanently make changes using Stylus.
For a month or so, I have not been able to apply certain custom fonts in either using the 'inspect' function or the stylus extension. Afterwards I tried the same on a fresh new install of Firefox Developer edition with no success either.
The problem in question is that I am able to apply custom fonts with names composed of a single word such as "Times" "Arial" or "Georgia", however, using fonts with two or more words such as "Arial Nova" or "Californian FB" does not work. Oddly enough, the system font "Segoe UI" does work, as to why perhaps this bug was not detected in tests.
In short, I am not being able to use custom css fonts with two or more words in any Firefox desktop setting.
After the last update of Firefox, I cannot browse to websites. Firefox simply presents a "New Tab" prompt as if it is trying to get to the website but nothing happens. Ot… (lire la suite)

For years have been able to use NATIONAL EXPRESS COACH UK SITE to book travel, last successful use was 19.10.2023 but 9.2.2024 site would not allow me to enter my account nor clicking 'forgotten password' option failed. Seaching via FIREFOX/GOOGLE for ACCOUNT LOG IN does not load any pages, just this https://book.nationalexpress.com/my-account/#/profile/view or https://book.nationalexpress.com/my-account/ if the above pasted page 'headers' help. NATIONAL EXPRESS COACH UK SITE allows booking pages to load but refuses to allow anything related to Customer Account, where one would not have to pay booking fees. Their latest reply is below: 'With regard to the password reset function, from the home page, after clicking you wish to sign in, followed by selecting Existing Customer, when pressing Forgotten Password a new web page should load. In order to isolate this process, one method would be to use the Incognito private function of the web browser. It may be called InPrivate, Private or similar depending on the browser, Chrome, Bing, Safari, Firefox etc. If you can go through the National Express logging in procedure, this should work. Also, could you ensure your web browser is running the most current version too. 'Another option you could try is to use a different web browser to see if that alleviates the problem." Using FIREFOX PRIVATE does not solve the problem, my system shows MOZILLA FIREFOX FOR LINUX MINT mint-001 -1.0 is what the last MINT UPDATE has provided, so presume the most recent version, so the only remaining change would be to install CHROME but why would FIREFOX suddenly fail to show such pages related to the COACH ACCOUNT LOG-IN in Feb 2024 when Oct 2023, no problems occurred? YouTube keeps blanking out at regular intervals. I can watch videos and try returning to the main page, only to load as blank, with only the menu icon in the upper left corner showing. This keeps happening, and the only solution is to close the browser and use Wise Disk Cleaner (or similar software) to clean the cache before restarting the browser. I have to do this several times pr. Day.
I have tried the most normal solutions I have found, already posted, like:
- Disabling Hardware acceleration - Uninstalling Ad-blockers
I have the following add-ons installed:
- Dashlane - Adblocker Plus - Honey - Return YouTube Dislike - Zotero - Express VPN - LeanLibrary
Are there any other options to attempt to correct this extremely annoying problem? I just want to surf YouTube in peace.

As of a few days ago my login to my bank's website is not working. I can login, but the main page which should display accounts, etc. only displays the top half of the site, but not the lower half that should display the account information. I tried chrome, and that works fine. But I was wondering why FireFox is not displaying the website. I've been in contact with my bank and their I.T. department. And they claim there have been no changes or glitches, and their website should work with all majore browsers, including F.F. I do have a password manager, but I disabled that for the bank website. I've cleared cache numerous times. Rebooted, etc. I know there was a Microsoft Windows update a few days ago. In fact they sent 2 updates almost back to back. Which is unusual. I understand there have been cyber attacks recently. Don't know if that's related. Any ideas on how to get F.F. working on my bank's website? Thanks

Updated today to the latest. Still the same. I am writing this from Chrome because Firefox won't even respond to searching for firefox. The trembling is seen in the new tab and nothing happens.
