I lost power today and when I had it restored, had a message that the Firefox versions were incompatible (I think it got interrupted during an update. Anyway, no internet access through Firefox, so I deleted Firefox thinking I could reinstall and all might be good. So far, not so good...

I was able to Google my way to install the extended release version of Firefox for dinosaurs but I lost all of my bookmarks. Is there a way to get this back? I would hate to start over finding the places I visit and also recalling old spreadsheets, documents, etc....

Any help would be appreciated.

Why does a website (communityapps.com) open and function in Firefox and also Safari on my Macbook Pro (2020) but gives only a blank page in Firefox (loading OK in Safari) on my iMac (2021) both with current & identical OS and Firefox versions? (I don't want to use Safari.)

When searching with Firefox, I am forwarded to a Captcha using Google search. I am not required if searching from chrome. Why the difference and how do I use Firefox and avoid the Captcha requirement?

When I attempt to search something and expect a redirect to my search engine or try to access a site that autocompletes in the address bar (for example, typing drive, autocompleting to drive.google.com, then clicking Enter to go to Google Drive), sometimes the website does not load after pressing Enter, and it is as if the search/address input did not go through after pressing Enter.

This seems to be an issue that has been occurring only over the past few months. What may be the issue, and how may I resolve this?

Yesterdays update of Thunderbird seems to have crashed my Thunderbird and all it's saved info. How do I restore it and I searched my hard drive and can't locate the .exe file?

One of the Firefox profiles does not save logins and passwords, but other profiles of the browser at that same computer have not that problem. How can I solve this problem ?

I have a new computer ... I like using Firefox as a browser but continue to have issues logging into Facebook...I have opted to use Chrome as I do not have issues using it.. When is Mozilla/Firefox going to address this issue & finally fix it??

What is wrong and how do I correct it?

As noted by others about recently-prior versions of Firefox, version 129 ALSO fails to play videos (on Amazon Prime) at HD even though other browsers, Chrome and Edge as examples, work perfectly well. This problem MAY have started with a fairly recent version of Firefox (like 127 or 128). See the post right here by another user, earlier Firefox version, with the EXACT same problem:

Been an issue for a while now. I try to start a YouTube video, and it spins and spins forever, maybe only loading the first 15 seconds before finally crashing the player. Twitch and other video service websites work perfectly fine. Tried a different browser, again worked perfectly fine. I erased all cookies, relogged in and tried, and it seemed to work for a little while, but then it eventually went right back to the way it was. Tried repeating the process, just deleting all YouTube cookies every time I wanted to watch something, and while it worked occasionally it was very inconsistent and obviously very annoying to have to do. Tried disabling ad and malware blockers, as well as all my other extensions, no dice. Needless to say, I'm stumped. Any clues..?

i have a problem when trying to open a web page called nakos.no, but because of somthing called nginx it wont open.

How do i fix it?

A couple of websites in Firefox just wont scroll down at all, hence I cannot access all the information or links. zooming out helps partially but not convenient. how can I fix this please? I already turned off and then back on the hardware acceleration option that was offered to someone as a solution. The same site works perfectly fine in Chrome.

Another issue, i tend to notice more frequently in comparison but still very rare is where the whole site is greyed out or no buttons or links work. Possibly because you must click on accept or some button/link that I am unable to see or access despite all efforts. so, you give up!

Since my last update (using ver 129), I can no longer switch to an alternate search engine from the list on the menu bar. My alternates are there but nothing happens when I select one.

This isn't a question, its a complaint.

The performance of Firefox with upload speed is TERRIBLE! I have multiple computers, all with Windows OS's and Firefox installed as the main browser. Each of them report back lower than actual upload speed.

Other browsers like Edge, chrome, and a CLI tool on linux all report my actual download/upload speeds.

I have tried the various about:config and profile changes as a work around that I found here and alsewhere, none of them work.
