HI,

Half the time when I go to a website like Google Flights or something to do with Google it just automatically brings me to my employer's website like to sign in and use the Google tools there. I don't even work for them anymore and I don't know how to get rid of it automatically wanting me to go there. It won't even let me use Google Flights because it says it not supported by my employer. Hello, recently I've been having issues where if misclick anywhere on the title bar (even in the small space between bookmarks) firefox will minimize/restore when I didn't want it too. How do I disable this in about:config?

It won't save open tabs when I close Firefox. Each time I have to go to: Setting>>History>>Recently closed windows. In General settings it's ticked Open previous windows and tabs. I already tried to turn off all extensions.

Got a new computer. Exported and imported bookmarks. However, that did not copy over my bookmark bar. Is there a way to get it to copy or do I have to recreate it?

Kroger web site will not open with fire fox but will open with google chrome. It is my survey site http: not https. I have this setting under privacy and settings. My browser keeps crashing like the system would have a defective RAM module witch has just been changed with a new one. I have created a new browser session and cleaned cache and cookies. The crash catch you randomly and then get fixated on a web page.... if i open amazon it crashes, then if i restart the browser it crashes again...like it would do when filling a defective RAM and finding a broken byte. I tested it for 24 hours from a live usb of memtest86+ and i got no error.

If i go in the minidumps folder i find it empty...

Can we verify it's not a problem of Firefox? At the moment Windows doesn't crash, it crashes only Firefox

For about two months, video quality has been persistently low for me on Youtube. Quality options are limited to 360p and I am unable to change it. Additionally, I am unable to play video on other platforms such as Vimeo, Pinterest and other streaming sites. Sites return errors such as 'Player is unable to play video at this time' or error code 102630. I have refreshed my cache and reinstalled Firefox and neither have resolved the issue. Notably, this issue does not occur on other browsers such as Chrome or Microsoft Edge. As far as I know my drivers are up to date and the Windows Media Feature Pack is installed, although it shouldn't be an issue seeing as sites work on other browsers. The issue also persists in troubleshooting mode. I've gone through the console and included images of some interesting errors that might be of use, although I don't have the technical knowledge to know what they mean. Please inform me if there is any other information I can provide that would help. Thank you!

Hi! I seem to be having an issue with my browser. Every now and then, blue squares will partially or completely replace the icons on my toolbar an search bar, and disappear on its own after a while.

For reference, I currently have several tabs open (13) on a split screen, but only the icons on de left window are affected by this. This started happening this month, prior to this I was able to have multiple tabs open on a split screen without issue.

I'll attach 2 images so you can see what I mean.

I appreciate any advice I get to fix this.

I have the Problem if I start Firefox or open a new Firefox Window. The Chroniks are open at the left side. How can I change it that the Chroniks are not open if I start Firefox or open a new Firefox Window?

I noticed that websites in my main firefox profile began showing the time in UTC rather than following my timezone.

privacy.resistFingerprinting and privacy.resistFingerprinting.testing.setTZtoUTC are set to false

Other profiles follow my timezone, so I would imagine that this has something to do directly with my current firefox profile.

Recently, I am being blocked from watching You Tube videos. There's a message saying that I have an ad-blocker. The message flashes on the screen and disappears almost immediately, so I am unable to read the details of the message. Then I went to another website and I received a similar message. This time, the message stayed on the screen, and I was able to read it all. It said that I have to go to my "extension bar" and disable the ad blocker. What is an extension bar, and does this have something to do with Mozilla Firefox? Firefox recently had an update, so I am wondering if they are related.

I have used Firefox since it was Netscape, with an ad blocker if one was available. With version 128 I am seeing many, many, many ads where I used to see almost none. I have blocked popups but that's not as much help as you'd hope. I cannot find anythng like AdBlock+ or U Block. Are these no longer available? No longer recommended? I can tell you that they are sure still needed. Thanks.

I have Picture in Picture disabled on Firefox. For some unknown reason, sometimes when watching youtube videos in fullscreen the video pops out of the screen and goes to a lower right window. This window has no controls, no title and the video stays black and nothing plays anymore. If I right click on it I have the option of "showing controls". Why is this happening? Am I issuing some weird mouse or keyboard command? How the HECK do I disable this, since I don't want, ever, to see any videos on a floating window, like ever at all? May I remind you that I disabled PIP in the beginning?

Why on God's green Earth is there a widget by default that has access to my location? I understand that it's just for weather but it is seriously unacceptable that a browser that claims to care so much about privacy plasters my location on my screen for all to see when I open a new tab. Seriously, who thought this was a good idea and how can I turn it off?

Prior to ~1 week ago, my process of using Firefox was as follows:

• Open a new tab, search for something, click through a few links

If I couldn't find anything relevant in the first page of results, I'd navigate back to the Firefox Home Page and try another search. I hate going past the first page of results!

However, as of ~1 week ago, I can no longer navigate to the Firefox Home Page - why is this?

I am getting messages that I am blocking ads for many of my internet requests. I had never received these before but all of a sudden I started to get them. I have tried a number of things but nothing works.

I am running Windows 11 and do not have any Ad blockers.
