I am on macos 14.5, and Firefox 128.0

I have enabled "Require device sign in to fill and manage passwords.". Which should ask for device authentication when I try to do anything with the saved passwords. And it does that when I go to "My passwords" and try to access them.

But, it doesn't ask for device authentication when I am using saved passwords on login forms. Is this intended? Anyone can go to the login form, fill the saved password without authentication and then see it.

Hello I have a ntlworld.com email as my main email, I recently added a second email address on gmail.com When I try to send an email on ntlworld I am unable, yet I can send emails on gmail. Before I added the gmail.com I had no problems sending emails on ntlworld.com I am able to recieve emails on both ntlworld and gmail.

sorry for the trouble but I am an anologue in a digital world.

I have been using thunderbird without any problems for many years, but recently it stopped downloading emails from my two (IMAP) accounts (different domains, but both using the same host server). And sending emails fails as well with the following message: "Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) send.one.com timed out. Try again."

I can still access my emails through the web but since my entire office procedure is designed around Thunderbird, I'm keen to get this sorted.

One.com - my hosting service - say that there is nothing at their end causing the problem. So I guess its some setting in thunderbird somehow stopping communications with both the incoming server and the outgoing one. I have gone through the obvious steps - checked numerous times the server settings (including changing these to alternatives suggested by One.com tech support) - they are all as they should be. Also I stopped my antivirus for a few minutes, just in case it was that.

All of this happened without any obvious update or change to the Thunderbird version, or any action of mine that could possibly have changed any of the settings.

Any ideas? And if no positive suggestions, does Thunderbird have logs which might give me more information as to why the contact be me and the servers are failing?

How to set message background color besides white? I'm having issue with the white background visually. I'm a Vet and legally blind in my right eye. Solid white backgrounds gives me very bad headaches. So, I would like to change this. Please see the attached image. The white area is what I'm talking about. system: windows 11 23h2 dark theme enabled. thunderbird 128

Ever since last update to Firefox, there are now intermittent drop outs in Audio, whether it's in media player(s) , youtube videos, or audio edited softwares.

And this ONLY happens when Firefox is open. 

If this isn't fixed soon .. and i mean SOON, I will be forced to switch to Opera Browser, where this Does NOT happen. Thank You

Hi, I am unable to scroll on the website flexer exclusively on Firefox, it works fine on Chrome. Firefox is my default for everything except I will likely be forced to switch if I cannot access the website as I need it for work. I can scroll around fine on the home page but as soon as I log in, I cannot scroll, the only way I could see more of the page (on mobile & PC) was by zooming out on the page, but then the resolution is terrible.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi! Our email server recently migrated from Media Temple to Microsoft and, like many people, we are able to receive messages but not send them. I have gone through the process and updated both the SMTP and IMAP settings to no avail.

One support article says, "Per Microsoft documentation, administrators should visit https://login.microsoftonline.com/{tenant-id}/adminconsent?client_id=9e5f94bc-e8a4-4e73-b8be-63364c29d753 and grant the following permissions in order to authorize Mozilla Thunderbird: IMAP.AccessAsUser.All, POP.AccessAsUser.Al, SMTP.Send and offline_access."

I have followed those instructions and am still unable to send emails from our accounts. The only account able to both send and receive is our admin account. Does anyone know if there are additional settings that we need to configure in Thunderbird or does this need to be done in Microsoft Entra admin center?

I am sorry to bother anyone, But yesterday during use of Iceraven project, which I've been using fore more yeares now, in fact almost 3, I was contacted by my ISP that somehow my Internet expences have exceeded sum

of the expences I have been paying for last 3 months. i've seen my usual ESET messed up orotection as well as  some cloud services on the list of expences that have been payed last month and suddendly an free app (like the Authenticity provider sudden appearence 9n my expences list. I must addmit that I have found also apps with unbnormal parts of the code on the list and suddendly I cn't do a thing about that but I need 68,00 € to be payed this month, and some activities are suspicous since I have found out some ugly truth that would not upsst mevas much as more "thanksgiving" at somebody's account. Special treet are the facts that I am using the *Ice Taven for ecactly a few months ago oppend for publi  Phone users an ability to use larger nber of  ADD-ons. I would be very plrased if you could assist me in solving this 3x monthpy cost suddendly without any notice.
