Hi This morning when I tried to send an email I got a message there was no disk space & so couldn't save copy to sent (I have 848 GB free on HD)

I tried to copy some old sent emails to a folder I've used in the past (old sent) & TB crashed. When I restarted it, many of my subfolders were missing. They are all still showing in Local folders in profile. I deleted all msf files & restarted TB. Nothing.

How can I restore these folders? Hopefully that's possible! Thanks

Hello. Some of my messages are not displaying in text or HTML as they should. I have tried changing settings to solve this but setting as Automatic or HTML or text, nothing solves the problem. I shall paste a partial email so you can see what I mean (I have deleted personal information):

I am unable to login into Gmail, nor Exchange 365 on Windows with OAuth2.

In the Google auth flow, clicking "Allow" to grant permissions to Thunderbird causes the page to hang and nothing happens.

When I used to take screenshots, they would be automatically named with the date, time, and part of the text captured regardless of language. A few days ago and with no reason I can discern, it now saves any non-English screenshots with something like this "Screenshot 2024-06-23 a[...].png" instead of "Screenshot 2024-06-22 at 08-02-28 Politics Policy Polit[...].png" (usual for English text and what I used to get with all languages).

Which means I have to manually rename screenshots. Does anyone know how I can fix this because I am working on a project with lots of screenshots for topics from different languages?

I love Thunderbird and it has replaced Outlook (classic) for me, but there's one feature I miss, AutoArchive.

In Outlook (classic), emails older than x days can be automatically moved out of the server folders and into local folders, freeing up server storage space and negating the need to pay for additional cloud storage.

Thunderbird has the ability to select a group of messages in any folder and right-click > Archive (move) them to the matching Local Folder: perfect! But manually selecting multiple messages older than x days in multiple IMAP folders and selecting "Archive" is a chore too far.

Thunderbird should natively have the ability to (optionally) iterate across all IMAP folders and "Archive" any message older than x days, according to the Message Archives setting in Account Settings > Copies & Folders. The Disk Space setting in Account Settings could be an ideal place to add an "Archive messages more than x days old" option, since it already has a "Delete messages more than x days old" option.

Note: I know about the AutoarchiveReloaded add-on, but for something as important as shifting emails around with the possible breakage that could occur, and the possibility of the add-on being discontinued, native support would be very much welcome.

Another note: this has of course been raised on bugzilla,[1] but it's a 15 year old bug and seemingly unlikely to come to fruition.

My laptop uses Window 11. On the web Bet365, I view live streams video by Picture in Picture mode of Firefox (hotkey: Ctrl+Shift+]) and see that the quality of video is very bad. I tested with Chrome and didn't see this issue. Is there any way to improve video quality of Firefox Picture in Picture mode?

Using Thunderbird version 115.11.0 (64-bit) with Windows 7 OS and THREADING TURNED OFF.

When I receive a second reply to an email I've sent via one of my email service providers that uses an outlook365 server, my thunderbird view hides it beneath the first reply unless I manually intervene by clicking on the "greater than" sign associated with the first reply. When I do click on the first reply the greater than sign spins clockwise 90 degrees and the second reply appears below the first as if it were in a subdirectory.

The above behaviour is very inconvenient because I am prone to missing the second reply and have trouble anticipating its existence. Admittedly the unread second reply does change the first reply's text property to "bold" but I much prefer to see the new message without having to manually click on everything bold to check.

Another email service provider I use also has an Outlook365 server but second replies to emails are not hidden in its associated thunderbird inbox?

Can anything be done in thunderbird to stop this "feature" or is it absolutely fixed by service providers?

Hello! I have the latest version of the Mozilla browser installed. The entire interface is installed in Russian. Mozila has a service for automatically translating website content into other languages. Unfortunately, the set of languages ​​does not include Russian, so that I could automatically translate information from sites, for example in Spanish, into Russian and read such information. In the settings I found a function to switch the language translation, but unfortunately there is no Russian language again. Please tell me how can I set up such a translation? Or is there no such service at all for the Russian language?

There is an issue with 3 extensions: 1. Briskine. 2. Simple Gmail notes. 3. Boomerang. This issue is taking place only when Briskine is active and only on Firefox.

When Briskine is active Simple Gmail notes does not display at all. Boomerang does not display correctly so there is no access to the full screen and options.

This only happens with Firefox, not with Chrome or Edge. Also, it is a know issue that's been going on for a while. I wish it could be fixed. Thank you Adam [removed phone# and email from public support forum]

Android 14, One UI 6.0, Samsung S22+

Firefox is using a large amount of battery while idle. You can see my app runs open a lot of the day, but not in use much. It has drained 20 percent of one days battery, and I am watching YouTube videos on another app (Grayjay btw check it out!) and it has used far less battery. If I set Firefox into a sleeping state, the app still drains a lot of battery. When in deep sleep,it stops draining as much power, but then Android keeps auto pushing their own browser to be my primary browser. I'm not sure what to do in this case, as it's too much of a hassle to have links not auto open in Firefox when in deep sleep. This excessive battery drain doesn't make sense, and I was wondering if there was any fix for this. Thanks for taking the time.

I deleted McAfee. I cleared the cache. When Firefox opens it opens to qowin.co.in

How do I fix this?

how are shortcuts created on my "new tab" home page in firefox browser. I used to be able to create the shortcuts I wanted, not random shortcuts that I might have visited once. Now shortcuts appear that I don't want. I know I can remove them by dismissing them but I should not get them in the first place. Please help.

When im starting my computer, suddenly this program with old firefox logo auto starting on windows taskbar, i cant open(maximize) it....when i hover to that old firefox logo, it just shows random text......

If i'm opening task manager, that program or something is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\AlphaPress under the name update.exe.....i alrd close that program, delete that, and running malwarebytes, but didnt find any threat.....If u can reassure me that it wasnt dangerous malware or anything....maybe some real firefox update?

I'm trying to pair my Pocket account on my Kobo Clara. I've tried pairing using both my phone and Desktop using the Firefox browser on the most recent versions. When I press the authorize button I receive an error saying "There was a problem trying to connect this app to Pocket. Please try again." The Desktop site is a little more descriptive saying "Can't log in to Pocket We're currently experiencing intermittent issues logging in to Pocket accounts. We're working closely with Pocket to resolve the situation, and apologize for any inconvenience. Please try logging in later." I'm not sure if this a Pocket error or a Kobo error. When I search for a Hebrew-language video on Firefox the resulting link text overlaps with the English text “Translate this page” for all YouTube videos. I don’t want any page translated and my Firefox Translation settings include no languages. The overlap only occurs on YouTube video links. How can I get rid of the “Translate this page” text? I recently switched from windows to Linux, and was using it for 3 months now. It was due to window recall Feature. But still i was using chrome as default and daily browser. I wanted to explore firefox, its great actually, except 2 things which might need me to switch back to chrome or brave.

1. it don't have fu**king Profile switch, I mean i use 11 Profiles On Chrome, most people still use 2-4 profiles, how can we move to a browser that dont support profiles. I know we can add profiles by "about:Profiles" I tried it. It worked but guess what? To switch profile i have to manually go to that page to launch it. So much time consuming and frustrating. Why not simply add a btn on profile pic like chrome to switch profiles?

2. Add-ons is good thing, but there should be a way to install things from chrome web store, i not found any.

If firefox can fix these two things firefox can simply grow back to 30+ % market share, but if not people will just test l;like me and go.
