[Needs draft] Changing the language of Firefox to English

  1. Moving this over from https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=504338

There's a bunch of discussion in bug clarifying what the issue is. Basically, non-English users going to mozilla.com will get Firefox in their locale. It's common for those users to prefer the English version.

  2. It is an interesting idea. Indeed, if you type "language", or "locale", or "localized" in the search field, search results show nothing interesting.

    I propose two articles:

    1. "Getting a localized version of Firefox": installing one or several localized versions of Firefox sharing the same profile, overwriting the current one.
    2. "Setting preferred languages inside Firefox": definition of a preferred language, difference with a localized version, setting the first preferred language, sorting out or removing preferred languages, setting a dictionary different from the default one. It is now hidden in a small section of Settings for web content, pop-ups, fonts, and languages.

  3. Are there requests from non-English users for these two articles?
