My laptop uses Window 11. On the web Bet365, I view live streams video by Picture in Picture mode of Firefox (hotkey: Ctrl+Shift+]) and see that the quality of video is very bad. I tested with Chrome and didn't see this issue. Is there any way to improve video quality of Firefox Picture in Picture mode?

Hello! I have the latest version of the Mozilla browser installed. The entire interface is installed in Russian. Mozila has a service for automatically translating website content into other languages. Unfortunately, the set of languages ​​does not include Russian, so that I could automatically translate information from sites, for example in Spanish, into Russian and read such information. In the settings I found a function to switch the language translation, but unfortunately there is no Russian language again. Please tell me how can I set up such a translation? Or is there no such service at all for the Russian language?

There is an issue with 3 extensions: 1. Briskine. 2. Simple Gmail notes. 3. Boomerang. This issue is taking place only when Briskine is active and only on Firefox.

When Briskine is active Simple Gmail notes does not display at all. Boomerang does not display correctly so there is no access to the full screen and options.

This only happens with Firefox, not with Chrome or Edge. Also, it is a know issue that's been going on for a while. I wish it could be fixed. Thank you Adam [removed phone# and email from public support forum]

I have in my laptop a external webcam a Logitech Webcam C930e. The webcam is a HD webcam with 1080p. But in Google Meet in Firefox I can only configure it at 720p but in Chrome I can configure it at 1080p. Why have that behavior?

I have a 2nd identical "other" folder located in the "other" folder. They are somehow linked to each other, so that if I try to delete a bookmark under the 2nd duplicate one, it deletes it from both. If I select something in one folder and then click on the second one that selected item shows under the second as well. I don't want two folders but cannot delete or change anything or it deletes the original as well. Other than restoring an old bookmark backup to replace this defective one does anyone have any solution to fixing this? Thanks Cheers

Hi! I have more than one device for Audio connected to my laptop. Obviously the default device provide by laptop but also I have a Jabra Headset EVOLVE 20 SE MS and Jabra Speaker SPEAK 510 USB/ Bluetooth. Also my webcam Logitech C930e provide a microphone.

When I use Google Meet, in Chrome I can select on Meet Audio Device Select the different microphone or Speakers but in Firefox I can only select the Default System Speaker.

I would like to know how to change between my Audio Devices for the output or can switch between my different speakers.

When I search for a Hebrew-language video on Firefox the resulting link text overlaps with the English text “Translate this page” for all YouTube videos. I don’t want any page translated and my Firefox Translation settings include no languages. The overlap only occurs on YouTube video links. How can I get rid of the “Translate this page” text? I have a very good PC (5800X3D, 7900XT, 32GB DDR4 3600), but Firefox (either the normal, canary and nightly version) can't play smoothly any 4K video (like the Borderlands trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU_NKNZljoQ ). 1440 and lower resolutions are fine, as are 4K videos on Chrome and Edge. FWIW, my CPU during 4K playback is barely used (1-2%), and my GPU's video codec (VCE) is used by around a third. Disabling HW accel makes things better, as it still stutters but it's (barely) passable. I already tried creating a new profile, but still it's the same.

So, this is going to be an incredibly weird question, but is anyone else having this issue? As of about two days ago, any time I try and load a video on youtube it will refuse to load for upwards of 30 seconds, however if I toggle the new stable volume option off/on it instantly loads. It will then play for about 2-3 minutes or more depending on video length (sometimes way more) before the buffer bar will stop entirely, take over two minutes to load the video again, then keep playing. More often than not doing this multiple times per singular video. Often times it won't even load anymore at all and I am forced to refresh the page and toggle the stable volume once again.

I've tried disabling every single extension I have, including ad blockers, restarting the entire browser, and using a different account, and it still happens no matter what. However it is not an issue that occurs on chrome or edge, so I'm at a complete loss of what is causing this. Looking up this issue comes up with next to no results, so is it possible this is a youtube issue or is something seriously wrong with my browser and I need to re-install it?

I'm switching from Edge and have a frustrating issue.

In Edge I am very used to having separate behaviour for links with left and middle click.

i.e. from Gmail, if I left click a link it opens in a new tab and switches to the tab, if I middle click a link it opens in a new tab but stays on the current tab

In Firefox both seem to be controlled by the single setting.

I have looked in about:config and tried changing a few flags but cannot seem to find a combination that works how I want it.

Can anyone help?

This is a real dealbreaker for me and I will switch back if there's no solution :(

I am trying to get rid of the fullscreen animation i have tried changing full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter and full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave to 0 0 but the animation still plays

I can no longer use my camera on firefox, firefox displayed some message about camera when we were trying to chat, but I missed it, I have granted relevant permissions on the site, that we use reularly. The camera icon on the address bar appears red, and I noticed that in Windows security, it lists firefox access requests, but shows no way to grant these requests.

I am not tech minded so please if anyone could keep it simple, I would appreciate it.

Hi, Like many other people I have Firefox setup just the way I like it - a few windows open, some windows with 10 tabs open, my most common pages open as pinned tabs, other windows with stuff I want to remain at the front of memory at least temporarily. The last 3 times I have updated Firefox, it opens without restoring my pages. I look in the History menu and both the 'recently closed windows' and 'recently closed tabs' items are greyed out. I really, really don't want to move away from FF, but this behavior is beyond frustrating. I've already checked I have 2 profiles: default and default-release (default). I tried 'Launch profile in new browser' for the other profile but it's empty. Any ideas how to figure out what the problem is? I'm on Windows 11. Thanks!

I have a problem with the import of my backup in FireFox. I made an backup with MozBackup (.pcv) with my old Computer, Now with the new one and new FireFox program I can't import it, as the import will not recognive the used format.

I have tried to solve it to convert it to .zip but then the import won't run, or quit's after about 25 to 30% import.

How can I resolve this problem, which also count's for the new Thunderbird. As I am now missing all the maps at both programs.

I am trying to open a website but I keep getting error code 522. I've tried using Chrome and it connects to the website with no problem. I've checked my privacy settings and I do not have that website blocked. What else can I check? I don't think it's an issue from the website side. I really appreciate everything you do, but I am a boomer (Loud and Proud), I did not get born with a device attached to my hand, I am a digital imbecile.

With all that in mind, it has become too difficult to keep up with the digitalisation, at least in my case. So when you send me suggestions and update procedures I end up just closing everything, too much to read, too stressing, but the suggestions keep coming every time I open the firefox browser. Can I not just keep the version I have and decline any new versions.

I also have a problem in regard to language, it is set to English, but I do not care for US English, I would like to have GB English, but somehow it won't accept that.

What can I do?
