My Firefox browser kept freezing up and acting very slow so I closed it. When I reopened it all my tabs did not repopulate like normal. None of them. I have the box checked to reopen all tabs on restart and it has always worked, not this time. Why! How can I get them back. Thanks, Aldo

Would love to know how in task manager there are 10+ firefox services running with only 4 tabs open and the usage is ridiculous. Closing one tab the next one that was using roughly 250mb shoots to over 600mb...what are you playing at????

In Firefox, after a reboot, how can I re open my previouse sessions?

Originally I had quite a lot of open browsers & tabs. Then I needed to do a reboot, and now I've lost those previouse sessions.

Usually I just open firefox, and this opens one browser, and then all of my previous browser, and tab reopen, but this time firefox crashed, and its popup said it needed to restart, but it would re-open my previous browser and tab, but it didnt.

After following the usuall firefox help giudes, it still wouldn't re open my previouse sessions. Now if I ask it to open my previouse sessions, it just opens the recent help giudes, and not anything before the crash.

So is there a backup file of myu missing sessions that I can roll back to?

Can't use Gmail account anymore have cleared cookie's and caches removed permissions and account from Google and TB uninstalled then reinstalled then add TB account worked for 2 minutes then got the same error also some emails load while others are just a blank screen all windows 10 and TB updates are current Have attached error we are receiving anything else please just ask Any help appreciated

First of all, Thunderbird for whatever reason does not trust Lets Encrypt certificates. Is Thunderbird special?

Next, when it asks to confirm the cert, the confirmation dialog and a message box appear, hidden under the new email window. Is there a good reason why they should not pop up, like all normal new dialogs and message boxes pop up, in millions of other softwares? Does Thunderbird have to be special and hide its dialogs?

And lastly, it takes a deliberate development effort to hide new dialogs. Is there a good reason for you to do that to us, so that we have a hard time Alt-Tabbing into the confirmation dialog? What is it?

A while ago I subscribed to an RSS, but all that happened was that two empty folders were created and they're impossible to delete. They just return. I run the latest Thunderbird on an updated Windows 11 PC.

hello tried a few things from help docs on line. nothing working. just keeps happening. tabs will say gah. your tab just crashed. works for a bit but once happens.... have to close whole firefox and open again. just started happening yesterday. I have used firefox for many many years never a problem. Something was not updated right. Using Mac OS 10.13.6, Firefox recently updated to 115.0.3, and now the Overdrive app (from the public library) won't download audiobook files anymore. Have tried clearing cache, restarting, removing book files, restarting, and reloading the OD app, etc. The error message is that the app can't connect to the internet. My internet connection is fine - this is only happening with this app. It only started doing this when Firefox updated. I tried loading an earlier version of Firefox but it automatically went to this Beta update channel version. Can you help me go back to an earlier version of Firefox that won't automatically update? (I'm not able to upgrade this Mac, and this OS is the one that Overdrive works with. Firefox was the only browser that worked with Overdrive. Thanks - hope you can help!

In Android 14 oneUI 6.0 i have an issue while i download, the progress of download doesn't show up, i have checked everything but only the Firefox notification of private search shows up, plus when it is downloading the file i have problems when browsing, like when i use the keyboard The keyboard automatically closes and doesn't allows me to type I don't know if i explain myself clear enough

Pretty much every video I attempt to play, including https://www.allaboutbirds.org/cams/red-tailed-hawks/# will play the video only when audio is muted. unmute the audio and you get the audio track but the video is paused.

Can't figure this one out, I've seen it only in the last few days (it started when I was using 127.0.0 and continues in 127.0.1)

Chrome and Chromium don't do this.

Suppose that I have a 5 kbyte comment with multiple paragraphs, and I skip around copy and pasting from one place to another, and highlight some sentences and over write them either with typing or pasting. When I go to undo or redo some of these things, it causes a big screw-up in the text.

Other than it being my problem to recompose the damaged sentences, etc, what developers need to be contacted to fix the undo and redo functions of the YouTube comment input text controls for YouTube videos?

Hello! Since I couldn't find help in the forums, I will create a new question. For about a year now the PC at my work will not open mailto-links correctly. There is no account to select from, the subject has a lock-symbol. The receiver's address is correct though (I replaced it with "address" for the screenshot). This PC is the only one I know with that problem and only with external mailto-links. If I click on an email address inside a mail, it opens it correctly. Thunderbird version 115.11.1 (32-Bit), Win 10

Firefox for Android gets frozen when using it to open large PDF files. I have been meaning to change my default PDF viewer app, but once Firefox has been set as the default PDF viewer for Android, there will no way to change this default; as Firefox default's don't have the option to be deleted through Android's App Info menu.
