I'm unable to get Lloyds bank to recognize that cookies are enabled. I've tried clearing cache+history etc but no joy. Having tried the Lloyds bank cookies page and enabling cookies still no joy and login refused. Standard setting in Security & Privacy and advised resets all tried multiple times. Anything to do with "trusted" device? Trust prompt not reissued after resetting everything. Had to use Chrome to login - and got the "trust this device" prompt on first use.

I cannot install English GB dictionary for my spell checker. When I click add dictionaries it takes me to a page where I can select Englsih GB as one of the dictionaries available in my locale. It then takes me to the info and remove page for the dictionary but there is no option to install and no pop up to start the download appears.

I watch videos on dropout.tv which uses the Vimeo SDK as their player for the videos. After switching to Firefox, the video progress has consistently started from where I left off on Chrome. The site doesn't remember where I ended the video when I watch it on Firefox. I assume this has to do with the cookies, but I've manually added "dropout.tv" to the list of exceptions in Firefox settings so that that site is always allowed to store cookies.

Returning briefly to Chrome, the player immediately tracked my progress again, so the issue is definitely related to Firefox somehow.

suddenly Firefox is blocking my entry to a specific site with the measage "Log on error. You need to enable cookies in your browser to logon to Internet Banking." I have tried umpteen ways around this to no avail. Google Chrome does not have this problem!! I am using version 100.0.2

(when i click "Capture video" the LED near the webcam hole is on, but preview not shown.

but in chrome, edge and opera connect successfully. first LED on, then preview is shown with no bug!

(first i check firefox, not connected, then check in chrome connected, NOTE: device is not busy with chrome when i check firefox, i am a web developer:) )

Indigo Slate has created an interactive site for our client but on Firefox browsers on both Windows and Mac the interactive I i frames are non-responsive and often blurred out: https://exploresurface.com/#/en-us/touchscreen-display is one example of many on the site we have created. This issue does not occur with Chrome, Opera, or Microsoft Edge.

upon enabling "do not connect to http" very, very, very often i got the attached error message when the site said it was https and it was very often reliable places like my bank and TaxAct. It seemed like such a good idea but i quit out of frustration.

Our printers are added from a print server. FireFox is showing the full printer server path as the printer name. This is not good. Why is this happening? I have tried clearing the printer settings and re-adding the printers but this did not fix the issue.

When FF on my Windows 10 machine crashed FF asked if I wanted to refresh FF. I said yes, and FF reopened as usual with all my tabs. After I closed and reopened FF the next time, it reopened without any of my tabs. I then discovered that FF had unchecked the “Startup Open previous windows and tabs” box, which I had previously religiously monitored to be sure it was checked. So I lost all my previous tabs.

In my sessionstore-backups folder I found the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 as last in a list of three more recent file names. I then dropped the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 in the scrounger tool on this site: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html. It expanded in the big window, and when I clicked on Save uncompressed JSON as text, I see all the URLs run together in a text file.

How can I use this information to recover my tabs, please? If so, how? Or is there a better way to use the Scrounger – or another – tool?

Otherwise if I delete the three more recent file names in the list above the upgrade.jsonlz4-20 file, and restart FF will I recover the missing tabs? If so would I the check or uncheck the Startup Open previous windows and tabs box?

Lastly, can I restore my missing tabs using Windows’ “System restore” tool from 3 days before the crash?

Firefox does not play well with how you customize keyboard shortcuts on Mac i.e. Go to System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts.

By default - Move Cursor to Address Bar - Cmd+L Bookmark this Page - Cmd+D

I would like to switch these two shortcuts but there does not seem to be any way. Please help me out.

Every time I log in or refresh outlook, I get an email ad for outlook upgrade. It is from microsoft, and can be opened as an email, but it is an ad and can't be blocked. These emails remain blocked with Brave, and I am running an ad blocker. Will mozilla update to remove these ads, or is there an ad blocker that works better with Mozilla. When I inspect it, the first line shows:-

My Macbook Pro was repaired at the local Apple store. When I got it back, Firefox was closed. When I opened it again, I could not restore my previous session. It has been over a week now. How can I restore the session from before my Macbook Pro was repaired?

Previously, with older versions of Firefox, clicking on a wave file would open the wave file in the windows application that is registered for opening wave files. This was also the behavior with other audio files.

Now, it only offers to download the file which is incorrect behavior, the file just is needed for now and after now has passed, there is not reason to keep the file on the computer.

How do I restore the proper behavior.

When trying to log into our email domain (email.grassrootstahoe.com) The brand logo shows up but not the login form. I have tested on other devices and it works fine, other browsers on this device load it fine as well. I talked to our email hosting and they have no solution as they can not recreate the issue. I disabled all add ons, started in troubleshooting mode, and still the form does not load. In private browsing the page wont load at all. Thanks for any help.

This is the second time in 4 months I've had this issue. The first time I resolved it by clearing my cache. That isn't working this time. I've looked at the help articles and clearing the cache is there. This is where I found it the first time. Any ideas?

At random, whenever use a search box on a page, Firefox will lock up. The "loading" icon on the tab will animate as normal, but the entire window won't respond. If I press the show desktop button and then try to reveal Firefox, none of the windows will appear. I'd have to go into Windows Task Manager and be lucky enough to terminate the correct process containing the tab, or else I'd have to start all over again.

About a week ago, Firefox stopped updating the fonts on Canva art boards. I have attached a screen shot to show that the font name is correct (shown in the menu bar), but it is not reflected on the art board. The screenshot also has a popup of the image downloaded which shows the same font as in the menu bar.

I have used Canva in Firefox of years! I am now having to use Chrome and Edge. I would prefer Firefox. Please fix the problem.

Yesterday when my wife tried searching on her computer within the Amazon site the screen went black. She is able to pull up the Amazon website but when she tries to search for a product the screen goes black. There will be a split second when you can see the search results but then it goes black. I do not see any pop-up blocker warning at the top.This does not happen on other websites.
