I got a new Macbook Pro recently and set it up by basically copying my iMac onto it. All works great. Except that the MBP doesn't show up with it's synced open taps on my iMac or my iphone. The iMac doens't show up on the MBP either.

Have I maybe copied some setting that makes the two machines (iMAc and MBP) thinkt they're one and the same? How can I "separate" the devices so that they show up in each other's Synced Tabs lists, respectively?

I was a dumbass and clicked the "Do not ask me again" checkbox for a website setting that I definitely need to be asked each time I try to delete something. How do I go back and undo that?

Hey! In order to improve my workflow on MacOS which has menu bar item search (through the "Help" menu item or through external programs), I want to be able to add custom items to the list of menu items.

Some of the things I'm missing from other browsers: - Pin tab item in menu bar - Search open tabs in menu bar

I am aware that keyboard shortcuts exist, but I'm leaning more towards a command palette for my workflow.

I donated to AdBlock on my other computer (Firefox) had to uninstall Firefox because it opened up in a tiny window to the left of the screen so In uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it and now the AdBlock is gone The payment went to their processor "Paddle" the payment is in my online bank statement

Where are passwords imported from Safari saved to in my Mozilla or Firefox accounts?

I am having a problem with requesting information by clicking on a word or a number as follows:

When I am in Firefox and checking my email messages, I often click on a word or a number to get additional information. That has always worked until today. Now when I click on a word or number, I get the following message instead of an address: https://1t1dhxtkug.execute-api.us-east-2.amazonaws.com How do I get rid of this response? I used to be able to save bookmarks by selecting in a dropdown menu where I would like to to save the bookmark. I no longer see a dropdown menu when I go to save a page. It automatically saves the last folder used for bookmarks. It is a little confusing because I have to go search for the bookmark and move it into another folder. I don't know if this is due to an update or if I somehow changed the settings but really want to be able to select which folder I am saving my bookmarks to. Can I change this in the settings?

I have two Firefox windows open, one on my Macbook Pro and one on my external monitor. When I click a link in Obsidian, Firefox always opens it in the laptop's window. Is there a way to configure Obsidian (or maybe Firefox) so that links open in the Firefox window on my external monitor?

How do I designate StartPage as my search engine in Firefox. I found no place in Firefox Settings to choose a search engine other that your select few. For many years I have been able to do this in previous installations.

I'm using a macbook air, and I was trying to use the fingerprint login thing, when instead of unlocking my puter it shut down the whole thing and it started to make very loud fan noises. I waited a few minutes for it to stop, then got back on, and my bookmarks and saved passwords were deleted from firefox. No passwords or logins were reset on any other applications. This is very alarming since I had just made an email and some accounts to manage some event I'm holding, and now the password I trusted to firefox is lost. I need this password, as otherwise I cannot log into my email since I hadn't time to set up recovery measures (I have tried to recover it, but there's insufficient evidence for google that I own the account :/ ).

I tried looking through my browsing history for anything helpful, but everything was deleted from there as well. I also was not logged into my Mozilla account at the time either, so I am really in some sort of predicament here, , I'd appreciate any advice and ideas here!!

A white horizontal line in the top of the screen, whilst watching movies in tv5mondeplus.com. This issue happens when installed the recent update 129.0.

Tested in other browsers and doesn't appear the white horizontal line on top.

I have a new computer ... I like using Firefox as a browser but continue to have issues logging into Facebook...I have opted to use Chrome as I do not have issues using it.. When is Mozilla/Firefox going to address this issue & finally fix it??

I used to be able to press Enter in the empty Firefox search bar to bring up the (DuckDuckGo) search page and enter my search from there. Don't ask me why I like doing that, but now after the latest Firefox update, 128.0, on my MacBook Air I can't do that anymore. I have to type in the search bar to bring up the search page.

I know it's a small thing but I wonder if it can be put back to the way it used to be.

I cannot utilize the sign in to sync function. I try to sign in and no matter if it recognizes my email from logging on to the Mozilla.com site as soon as I get directed to the browser log in when I submit my email or password the page gets stuck and does not show any loading or error message at any point.

1. Close Firefox (FF) with some tabs open 2. While FF is closed the websites are updated 3. Open Firefox, tabs reopen 4. Go to tabs

Expected: Tabs should the latest version of the website (ie the page has been refreshed)

Actual: Tabs are showing the old, previous (cached) versions of the website and not refreshing to show the latest

User has to manuall refresh each tab to see the latest version of the page

Are other people seeing this issue?

(sorry, don't know how to find or edit original question) It occurred to me to try reloading firefox, there was an update, & I can download pdf's again. So ignore previous question.

I am unable to open certain sites, like Medicare claims, which I've had no trouble with in the past. I get an error message "To protect your security, api.medicare.gov will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window." This happened with another site as well. Please advise.
