My browser keeps crashing like the system would have a defective RAM module witch has just been changed with a new one. I have created a new browser session and cleaned cache and cookies. The crash catch you randomly and then get fixated on a web page.... if i open amazon it crashes, then if i restart the browser it crashes again...like it would do when filling a defective RAM and finding a broken byte. I tested it for 24 hours from a live usb of memtest86+ and i got no error.

My system it's Manjaro Linux Kernel 6.6.40-1-MANJARO My crashes are: bp-78e48a16-1536-4efc-a7a3-a03590240719 bp-706bb811-60e0-4e9a-8cab-d42400240719 bp-535604af-d38a-4d4b-a9de-07f250240718 bp-6592ddc7-b465-43e3-bd42-53cf80240718 bp-79765cde-22a0-42f4-9add-fbf5b0240718 bp-93efa616-c694-4b39-baec-df0dd0240718 bp-6f518461-c039-4fa8-874b-2d15d0240718 bp-5dfae8cc-4a38-4c06-97d7-8a94a0240718 bp-991b53c6-6df4-4b1d-814b-dbf480240718 bp-cb084663-9f4c-4c79-9ef5-74c6a0240718 bp-4f6385b6-927c-4d70-9851-45ffd0240718

Can we verify it's not a problem of Firefox? At the moment Windows doesn't crash, it crashes only Firefox

Running Thunderbird 128.0esr (64-bit), in a flatpack installation on Pop!OS (Ubuntu-derived), the menu bar shows as a blank gray strip if the Thunderbird window is active. It shows normal, however, if the Thunderbird window is not active.

The same is true for any composition window I open.

The attached picture shows the blank gray menu bar, just below the toolbar.

As stated, Thunderbird 128.0user Nebula only download around 448 messages from my shaw.ca mail server. The download starts with the earliest messages on the server, thus no current (latest) emails are downloaded to Nebula. I am short about 3.9k messages in this example. I am using pop3 as "I need the independency" on this computer. Earlier versions of Thunderbirds has no problems keeping up to date with all my accounts and their message volumes.

Hello Community,

I try to add a live.de mail account to Thunderbird 115.12.2.

I used these setting: IMAP Server outlook.office365.com with SSL on Port 993 and OAuth2 SMTP Server smtp.office365.com with STARTTLC on Port 587 and OAuth2

The TEST button is successfull and if I proceed it fail with the authen login page login.live.com because of security concern.

When I copy the link to the Edge Browser it works but the Thunderbird does not know about this. I can even find on the Microsoft Account that the Thunderbird is authorized to have access but mail account in TB is not created.

How can overcome this security issue? Maybe I can add a trustworth page in the Settings?

Regards Hubert

Since this week, the trash folder doesn't show any mails anymore. It says there are eight mails inside, but despite having not filters active, none of them are shown.

When I log into the webmailer of my provider, there are only two mails in the trash (the most recently deleted mails), and they are shown properly.

I use Thunderbird on Windows 11 Pro and the mail provider is 1&1.

I changed the password for one of my gmail accounts and now Thunderbird can't access it. It kept asking for verification. When I realized the problem I changed out the '@' but I can't change the password in Thunderbird. New emails are accessible in Gmail and Outlook but Thunderbird doesn't show then and nothing happens when I use 'get messages'. I need to delete the problem account to re-enter it, when I try to add the email address as a new account Thunderbird just says it already exists and does nothing.
