i have several accounts, all nicely listed under Local Folders. Today i went in to create another account and followed the wizard and the account was setup, except that in the left-hand pane the is one instance that appears directly as a subdirectory of Inbox and another instance under, but not a subdirectory of, Outbox.

i've repeated the operation several times now - achieving the same result every time. How can i get this new address to appear under by Local Folders like all of my other well-behaved addressess?

Have a great morning!  :)

I'm not sure I understand your folder structure. Can you post a screenshot of your folder pane?

Thanks for the screenshot, but I'm still struggling to understand your folder structure. I

Your top-most folder is Inbox, that should be an account name. Underneath Inbox you do have a folder 'Local Folders', which shouldn't be there. I don't see from your screenshot whether the items underneath 'Local Folders' are just folders or actual accounts.

So your profile looks pretty much messed up to me. You may consider creating a new profile and start from scratch. You could then import your existing mail from the old profile to the new profile using this add-on.
