You have temporarily disabled the automatic payment of your invoices! My eBay account has been temporarily locked because it appears that someone used your account without your permission!!!! The following listings have been removed because your account is currently restricted. All associated fees have been credited to your account. 320777570519 - Nikon D3X PRO DSLR Camera body 320777571775 - Nikon D3s 12.1 MP Digital SLR Camera USA (Body) 320777572137 - Leica M9 Body Only Steel Grey Plus other things AND I NEVER ORDERED or SOLD ANYTHING ON eBAY AS OF YET!!!! 320777572493 - Leaf Aptus 75s 33mp and Mamiya ADF II body 320777572870 - Canon camera many extras batteries SO THIS CAN'T BE ME! I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT IF I WANT TO DO BUSINESS ON eBAY OR NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH eBAY AT ALL, BECAUSE IT SEEMS I AM NOT GETTING A TRUTHFUL ANSWER FROM eBAY, JUST FROM PEOPLE THAT MONITOR THIS SESSION AND YOU PEOPLE DON'T SEEM TO GRASP WHAT I AM INQUIRING ABOUT! BECAUSE WHAT I AM RECEIVING IS JUST A BUNCH OF BULL FOR SOMETHING THAT I HAVE YET TO DO OR WILL DO. I HAVE NOT SCAMMED ANYONE, AND DON'T INTEND TO WISH I COULD GET A DEFINITE ANSWER FOR THIS PROBLEM FROM SOMEONE? THE ANSWERS COME TOO FAST, TO BE READ ENTIRELY, AND REPLY WITH A STRAIGHT ANSWER, AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED.

This sounds to me that you are being scammed.
If you did not subscribe to a newletter then I think it is very unlikely that you received an e-mail from Mozilla. It is very easy for criminals to send fake e-mails with a fake sender. You should only trust e-mails when you expect them to arrive.
You are receiving e-mails that accuse you of scamming. Your account has been locked on e-bay. If you are sure that you did not do anything wrong yourself, or anyone else who has access to your computer, then it is possible that your computer is hacked, and criminals have had or still have access to it and your passwords and are using your passwords without you knowing.
Actually a family member of mine is in a kind of same situation where this person is also accused of being a scammer and is receiving phone calls and e-mails of people that lost money. We ask the victims to report their situation to the police and hope the police will start an investigation.
I also noted that you have installed software on your computer that has (had?) a very bad reputation: Fun Web Products and My Web Search. That is also bad / suspicious.
What I would do if I were in your situation is to assume that the computer is compromised /hacked and the passwords are no longer safe. That means I would have the computer cleaned very well and change all passwords afterwards. When I am safe again, Iwould try to sort it out with E-bay and ask help from the law enforcement in the area.
Disclaimer: This is all my personal opinion and I do not work for Mozilla, so please ask for more advice and do not blame me if I'm wrong afterwards.

OH!!! Forgot to tell you that I have had my computer gone over by Microsoft (as a program was deleted somehow for updates, they believe it was done last time they were there) the 19th of this month (Oct), and he cleared out all suspicious mails/programs before asking and I don't remember those 2 being there. Any help in finding them would be appreciated.

Hello jmenterp, I clicked on the more system details link on the top right of this page and then an additional window pops up which showed these strange names Fun Web Products. I looked up these names on wikipedia.

Thanks knorretje, didn't know that was possible here/anywhere for that matter. You've been a GREAT HELP, now all I got to do is find where they are in my system! Any help on that would be appreciated! I'm not new to the computer BUT I am illiterate in some instances.

BTW I deleted all of them because I was not sure if any of them were legit. Think I'll change my account/password like you said earlier. THANKS AGAIN

Hello jmenterp,
I cannot tell if / where the bad stuff is hiding on your computer. In general I can say that there are several ways for malware to get to your computer.

  • when it is added to an other program so you think that you are downloading something good and get an added "extra".
  • when you go to a malicious site
  • when you open or press a link on a malicious e-mail.

So the basic rule is not to trust stuff on the internet and only install programs when you know and trust the person who made it.
Also it is very important to have an anti-virus program installed on your computer before going on the internet.

About your current situation:
You can do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

By the way: The only way to be 100 percent sure that your computer is free of any malware is to erase everything and to reinstall your operating system. But that is off course something that you would not do easily.
