Hi. i awoke this morning to find that my FF 3.6.2 will no longer "open" individual emails in Hotmail (worked last night!)-site opens ok but when individual emails (or archived categories) are clicked -NADA! the progress bar shows- connecting, then stopped. ive cleared my cache, rebooted, etc... Hotmail works ok in all other browsers(chrome-opera-ie-safari). So...... whats up? any ideas? please dont advise me to upgrade to FF #of the week-tried it didnt like it. i love Mozilla but change IS NOT always progress. Any help is appreciated-thx, Ray

fmd: thx for ur time; tried the workarounds in bugzilla (no good)

& found ur reply to similar:

"Note: this works with newer versions of Firefox - updating is the best course of action, as unless Microsoft implements a fix this is unlikely to be fixed for the 3.6 version of Firefox"

its very distressing-one day it works great/then next-KAPUT! ive checked MS & there doesnt seem to be a real fix there either.

Change IS NOT always progress!

It is this kind of thing that shows how Co.'s are only interested if ur willing the choke-down their "latest & greatest" - even when it's NOT!

So the familiar refrain abounds: "Upgrade or die!" or have to use more than one browser to do the things that FF has always done so well. ive used FF for yrs, checked out other browsers but none could compete-suddenly Mozilla IS IE.

Well, enuf "ranting"-

again, thx for ur time- pls update if u learn more.

R

ps: i am marking this solved even tho its REALLY not- but there doesnt seem to b a reasonable answer
