What is xml.freecause.com and why is it just now coming up? Never heard of it and do not use it. Ever since I updated my firefox and I try to Yahoo search I get redirected to other sites and stupid stuff. How do I get my old Mozilla Firefox back without wiping my computer and starting over?

Hi,

xml.freecause.com seems to be a site referenced by a addon or extension to Firefox (some other people suggested maybe a toolbar). Their server's security certificate expired earlier today, so their site can no longer be considered secure, and that is causing the error messages you've been seeing.

You should be able to get things back to normal by disabling the addon or extension that is causing the problem. The easiest way is to start Firefox in Safe Mode and make sure the problem goes away. Instructions are here: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe%20Mode

If things work fine when you continue in Safe Mode, you can disable all Addons and Extensions, then enable them one by one to figure out which one is causing the errors to appear.

Most likely the owners of the freecause website will fix the problem in the next few days and things will go back to normal.
