The following link will allow you to download the Nightly version of Firefox mobile https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android#Download_Nightly

Just so you know this is a development version and asks to update on a daily basis.

Thanks for the response and the link. I have installed the Nightly version and still the Arabic text is not rendering correctly. Basically none of the letters are connected together. I thought this was fixed based on bug 634386.

Thanks

The bug specified http://alwatan.kuwait.tt/ and http://kooora.com I am able to load those with Nightly. I don't understand Arabic but there are not any glaring errors that I am seeing. What pages are you having trouble with? What device are you using?

Sorry for the late response. I am using a LG revolution and I've tested with BBC Arabic (http://www.bbc.co.uk/arabic/).

Thanks.

No, every Arabic website I goto shows the arabic letters disjoint.

Including the two I mentioned above? Also attached are two screenshots of the sites you mentioned.

Yes, both sites exhibit the same behavior. The Arabic letters display but they are all disjoint. Granted, I am using a LG revolution, which I do not believe is in the list of supported devices, but I still had the expectation that it would work.

Thanks

Had another team member check with his LG device. He was able to reproduce this. We will open a bug and work towards solving this issue. (assuming it is not a LG flaw)

Great thanks for all your help. Please let me know the bug number so I can watch it or update the ticket when it is resolved (do you have any idea when it will be resolved?).

Thanks again for your assistance.
