Mozilla FireFox Registered Users: How do I upload profile pic (unable to, no change)?
Hello. This is my first time posting in the Forums, and I am also a new user of FireFox (3.6.12). Fergive me if I posted in the wrong area, or if this question has already been addressed. I searched everywhere on Mozilla as well as the internet. No success. Running Windows Vista.
When you login to Mozilla (say, through the add-ons page), you are brought to the homepage, right? Well, I go there to edit my profile. I edit all the text and stuff, and they successfully save and appear. But when I go to upload a profile picture from my computer, it does not work:
In Firefox browser: I select the photo I want uploaded to be my profile pic. I only choose JPGs or PNGs. I do not know if there are dimension requirements since it doesn't say. I "upload" it, and there is a confirmation, but NO profile picture. Just the same default image. I wait several minutes, and no change.
In Internet Explorer 8 (yeah): I go back to Mozilla to login. I go to upload a photo. I choose a JPG or PNG (no other kind, not too big either). But when I try to upload the photo, Mozilla says there was an error and it could not upload. *The SAME photos I tried to upload via FireFox browser*. It kept saying that I had to upload only JPGs and PNGs, which I was already doing.
FireFox/IE are the only browsers I have installed. If you need any more info, I'll try my best to provide'em.
Any help appreciated. Thank yall.

Whenever I log on to the AMO (AddonsMozilla.Org) website, the main page loads after logging in - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ - that website doesn't have an image upload for user's.
Exactly what is the page to went to when you registered? Almost every one of the Mozilla websites - Addons, Addon Developers, Mozilla Development Center, Firefox Support (here), Bugzilla, etc, has different registration and login pages and the username / password aren't shared.

I did not know that... Come to think of it, I was surprised when I had to create another account just to post here in the Mozilla support forums....
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ <<==This is the site I logged into. When you go to edit the profile, there is an option to upload a profile pic. I cannot do that because of some weird errors, which I mentioned above.
Go to the site, and, if yer not logged in, there will be a section at the top righthand of the site telling you to login or register. Once logged in, you will see the option "My Account", and in it the option to edit yer profile (which includes uploading a profile pic). I am still logged into the site.
Hope that clarifies. Still need some help on this though. Thanks fer the responses. Much appreciated.
