Share your screen on Firefox Hello

Firefox Hello's screen sharing feature lets you share web pages and other desktop applications during a conversation. If you've initiated a conversation, the screen sharing feature will be available to you. Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to the web page you want to share before joining another user on Firefox Hello.
  2. Click the screen share button screenshare buttonscreenshare hello 42 in the conversation window. (The button will turn blue when you click it.)

  3. Choose one of the following options:
    • Share my TabsShare your Tabs to share the web page you're on.
    • Share other Windows to share another application that you have open. If you choose this option, Firefox Hello will ask you to select the application you want to share.

  3. Choose Share my TabsShare your Tabs to share the web page you're on.
    Share other Windows is available only on Windows 7, Windows 8 and on Mac operating systems. You will not be able to select this option on Windows XP.

Tip: The screen share button will turn green end share helloblue active sharing hello 42 when you're actively sharing. To end the screen sharing session, click the share button end share helloactive sharing hello 42 again.
