Add a home screen shortcut on Firefox for Android Beta

This article applies only to an experimental version of Firefox for Android (Beta/Nightly formerly called Firefox Preview) that's no longer supported. Please download the supported version of Firefox for Android at the Google Play store

Access your favorite pages easily by adding shortcuts to your Home screen. When you tap a shortcut, the page will open in Firefox Preview.

  1. Open the page you want to add to your Home screen.
  2. Tap the Page Actions menu (three dots) in the address bar.
  3. Tap Add to Home screen.

  4. Enter a name for your shortcut (option might not be available for some pages) or use the default name.
