I suggest you stop recommending Mailfence. I have had some issues recently with my emails and presume it is to do with various updates, but the Mailfence account which i was going to close at the end of the term, remains blocked and i can't recover anything from them. Thb stated it was free when i subscribed, only it wasn't free for Thb platform users. They are not a fit company

128.0.1esr (64-bit) portable in w10 Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2 latest update as of 6th Aug 2024

Since I have updated to 128.0.1esr (64-bit) portable

I have been experiencing unusual and extremely slow rss feed and other email check & downloads

I have 3 gmail accounts & 1 microsoft and many rss feeds

unless I click on update/get messages for each gmail or microsoft or spesific rss feeds it just hangs

whereas when I click update/get all at once in the previous edition

I have never had such slowness or problem

I don't believe you need further info

please fix the slowness / and or not getting the new messages at all

yesterday I had an issue with my new emails from 1st August to 5th August, they were not displaying correctly, so I did a repair folder to my inbox, once I did this and said OK all my current emails until May 2022 disappeared! Some emails received yesterday 5th August 2024 will not open and have lost their attachments. This only happened in my inbox... Why has this happened and please can someone help me get all these emails back.

I recently had to update all my passwords for all my Thunderbird email accounts. It all seemed to go well. I was able to logon to all my email accounts, but just 2 days ago I wasn't able to logon to one of my secondary email accounts.

I haven't been able to clearly understand just where my passwords are located, so does anyone have any suggestions on where to find my passwords?  I'm stuck....

Where is the send button? Where is the Undo Delete button? Why can't I add them BACK to the tool bar?

There are other problems and somebody should poke the responsible braintrust with a stick for fucking things up.

Finally WHO fucked up the email client with this last update?

Seriously fix it or I am moving on. Been with thunderbird since the beginning.

I have reports from two people who cannot get their messages to me. One goes back to sender marked "blocked", the other is marked "refused to receive this message". I do not have any filter settings on either address. Can you tell me what is going on? Also, how can this be corrected? Thanks Marion Nickey

Hello, I´ve deleted my e-mails on my gmx account, because the storage space was filled. I´ve also emptied the bin. I was sure to have my e-mails on my thunderbird account on the computer, but they are all gone....Is there any opportunity to reload them? Thank´s a lot

I am using Thunderbird for 12yrs, also some paid features like Owl for Exchange.

After the latest update to the version 128.0.1 esr it is impossible to work with it, it constantly freezes and not responding, especially when I start typing or editing in the quick filter bar. This is the first time ever I am opening a ticket via this form, it pretty much says how frustrating this issue is. I hope this will be fixed in the next versions, so far I am rolling back to the previous version, since I need to have access to my emails, not to lose half a day, waiting until it responds.

I have a problem with outbox, i lost a possibility to read old emails i see them in outbox folder, but every signle email is blank the problem contain not all messages from this files, the newest are ok, and the olders also, but i have like 2 years gap i see al the messages but i cant read it, moziile display only whole white screen

Hi there, My preview panel is working very badly, it either shows the content of the email or is completely white. What can I do to remedy it? - In some cases the emails appear in very strange codes, thousands of lines like this (iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAPAAAABGCAYAAADyxhn6AAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAARnQU1BAACx jwv8YQUAAAAJcEhZcwAA) - in other cases, totally blank - in other cases it's everything ok It's working fine, receiving and sending all emails.

I have problems with server certificate. I am used to add an certificate exception almost every few month. Since mine IMAP4/SMTP/POP3 server does not have official SSL certificate It was working always. Since few weeks ago, I do not get popUP screen to add exception on POP3/IMAP/SMTP server certificate.

There is a message showing up and hiding. How to add certificate exception? I have tried settings, almost everything. Nothing can find.

I have also found out that server test button does not exist anymore. I was expecting to push the IMAP4 server test button and get the certificate exception message, where I can add an exception. This button does not exists anymore.

I can no longer E mail my photographs from Picasa, I have tried with the Windows 64 and 32 to no avail. The message keeps repeating that I do not have an E mail account supporting this action. I have been sending the photos for years, so I don't know what has happened in the mean time. Can you please advise.

Could someone please help me understand why this is happening and how I can resolve it? It seems like the issue is related to the SMTP server or account settings, but I am unsure how to proceed.

Hello. I have installed the newest version of Thunderbird- 128.0.1esr, but my Thunderbird was not working properly. So, I installed older version- 115.13.0. But after this installation and after creating a new profile for my account, I have these two issues. First- there are some additional folders in my home page (image 1)- I cannot delete or move them. Also, I don't have my old e-mails- both in "Inbox" and Sent folders. I can't also import them from another profile, because there is an error (image 2 and 3).

What should I do? Uninstall and install thunderbird again? Try to import my archives some another way? I would like to have 115.13.0 version.

I created an email account with some errors evidently. I need to remove it . Now that I know more about this account I do NOT plan to attempt to use it. I cannot find anything in the menus to delete the account.
