Started receiving pop ups stating virus attack from Mozilla and via cq5g6mojubcc7385jauo.deviceconnectnetwork from Mozilla showing McAffee, Critical Virus Alert, Virus attack. Receive 3 at time and I can't see the right side of my scree and I need to. Is this malware and if so how do I remove it fast? Thank you.

I have turned on the "Show a touch keyboard when necessary" option, but in my tests, all software and browsers (Chrome, edge, Steam, etc.) are able to call up the touch keyboard properly, except Firefox

I have a new computer with windows 11 and eset. eset used to open my browser to specif bookmarks for my banks and brokerage accounts. but not now. what is wrong. 127.0.2 and eset 17.2.7.0

I log into my bank account. I can see and control my checking and savings pages normally. When I click on my credit card page all I get is a blank page with the message "Working on it" it worked fine but opened a little slow prior to 127.01 or 127.0. I'm not sure which version it started failing in. However, it all works fine in Brave as does YouTube. I don't want to switch browsers or have multiple browsers and I would prefer one that doesn't depend on Google but I also need to be able to depend on it. I am running win 11 on my new computer but my old computer and laptop are win 10 with Firefox 127.02 and my bank account sight works fine. The only problem is the YouTube problem and that's across all of my computers.

For some time now my Firefox browser is crashing while I use it. Then a loop starts where a window appear with buttons offering to Restart or Close Firefox but whichever I choose it takes several sets of open/crash to stabilize when in the end if offers to either open it again, or refresh Firefox. I don't wan to refresh because I have tens of tabs that I want to save. But I can't because OneTab, along with all other extensions, is being disabled after the restarts.

I subscribed to an educational series that includes several kinds of presentation, including MP3, PDF, and video. The videos do not work. Not at all. I was directed to try a different browser, which I did: microsoft edge. The videos play using that browser.

I MUCH prefer to use Firefox -- do not like anything microsoft, but here we are, trapped in bill gates' monopoly.

I looked at "settings" but was not able to see anything there I thought would allow these videos to play in firefox. Be advised, I am NOT a computer person, so anything you might suggest, please be very literal, specific and define any acronyms -- do not assume I know anything about this stuff, because I don't -- I do not speak computer.

Again, I MUCH prefer to use firefox so I am hoping you can help me to watch these videos in firefox. The website is Goodness Lover (weird name, I know) it deals with diet, microbiome research etc.

Hi there! How can I delete the "go back one page shortcut"? Every time I side-scroll while holding option I go back and this is interfering with another web-app.

When Firefox opens up the address is typed in at top left in small print. The center bar is there, open, but if you click on it, while the cursor blinks, when you type in an address nothing appears as it does with Google Chrome which we have replaced with Firefox. My wife finds the top left print too small and wants me to go back to Google Chrome where she can read what she has entered. I cannot find anything, anywhere which will allow her to do this. We use Thunderbird and have made a few donations over the years. Hope you can help.

Toggling the left Shift key opens and closes the bookmarks tab on the left side of screen. Its very annoying when wanting typing capitals. Also the left Alt button opens the media player. Both these started doing so by themselves. The right buttons of these keys operate as normal. How to turn these off.

When I seek in videos, for example on youtube, it almost always hangs the entire machine. The same issue happens randomly as videos run, eg after about 5-7 minutes.

I'm struggling to get more information on what is happening (eg logs) because the whole system hangs.

Here are some things I have discovered:

1. I can reproduce in a fresh profile 2. I can reproduce with the flatpak version 3. I can't reproduce in the Brave browser 4. I can't reproduce the problem on Windows, only on this Linux machine

I'm running on Linux (debian bookworm). I'm using wayland. I have an intel i915 GPU (Alder Lake).

The problem started recently (last few days), but I'm not able to nail down exactly what changed.

What I really want is any way to get more information about what is happening - logs or debug output or whatever. Then I can work out if the bug is in Firefox, or something else on my system (eg intel graphics drivers)

I just got this new computer and want to transfer my FireFox bookmarks and history to it. I cannot access my old account because I do not have access to that email anymore, and you require me to get a code sent to that email to log in. That is still on my old computer that was originally running Windows 8, and has been deteriorating ever since Microsoft jammed Windows 10 down it's throat.

I might still be able to export the bookmarks if there is some way to do that.

The best way would be if I could access to that old account without needing to access bonin006@umn.edu my current email is wayne@nano-dyne.com

I have two PCs with latest versions of Firefox and Roboform. On one, Roboform controls the password manager in Firefox, in one it doesn't. How can I change the setting so it controls in both?

I don't know why or if it's related to Firefox, but For the last couple of weeks after logging into Instagram or Facebook or Disney+ or Paramount+ or X I get an email from them that says I logged in from a device I don't usually use. I have had the same device for several years. Getting those emails is annoying and also concerning. Can I fix this somehow? FYI I use Duck Duck Go via Firefox for my internet searches.

I switched back to release from nightly because the themes support completely broke rendering of menus, buttons, etc on various (read: pretty much every single one, including this one) websites, making them difficult or impossible to use. I've tried a browser refresh to no effect.

unfortunately, it appears the feature has been rolled out to release now as well, as pictured below.

I've tried cycling through themes, setting custom colors and forcing it to never replace the website's specified colors etc, turning off acceleration... none of it works. this is an issue on my desktop, laptop, and tablet (surface pro x), basically every platform I use except mobile.

any ideas how to fix this? it's really annoying and I'd really like to not hop browsers again, I've been using firefox for a good long while now.

Today I started getting repeated notifications, every 5 to 10 min or so, that my McAfee subscription has expired, my credit card has been rejected, and that my computer is infected. I do not use McAfee, either in Firefox or on my computer. I use the security suite that comes with Windows. I cannot stop these messages from appearing, and disabling notifications from McAfee in the messages does no good, the notifications just keep coming. HOW DO I MAKE THEM GO AWAY? They must be SPAM because I've never had a McAfee product on this machine, EVER. Thank you so much for the help, Dave Templeton

i used to be able to go full screen mode in firefox, for example in youtube, by clicking the full screen mode button in lower right corner. this does not work any more and not only in youtube. any stream with full screen does not work. this is Firefox only as fully screen works in Opera. clicking the title bar and choosing full screen does not help. I am on Linux mint.

Of late, the screen is wobbly and does not allow me to click the button. The website works fine on Chrome and Edge.
