When I input my backup code, mozilla shows the error "There was a problem confirming your backup authentication code". I tried inputting just one of the codes and all the codes. I'm not sure what to do.

I had two Firefox windows open and I accidentally closed the good one while trying to close out another app. Is there an "in-Firefox" app that will restore everything?

I tried reading the instructions but couldn't comprehend them outside of changing the name of sessionstore.something. I couldn't comprehend where to get the tabs I accidentally closed.

I would prefer the easy button. The easiest button possible.

Have issue when using Firefox where my PC internet connection gets disconnected. Running troubleshooting I get "The default gateway is not available" and to resolve it has to reset the network adapter. It occurs regardless if using internal Intel Centrino wireless N 6150 or external TP-link wireless Nano USB Adapter. The trigger is larger data upload... such as running a speed test or on a video meeting. Does not occur while using Chrome on same PC. This PC is running a older Windows 7 OS that I am aware is no longer supported. I am wondering if someone has ever come across this issue and know if there is a fix?

Hello, since the last firefox browser updates I cannot access anymore cyberfolks.pl, and it is really a problem because I have my working emails and the hosting of my company website of cyberfolks. Can you please fix this?

Firefox keeps going off for from 5 seconds to about 20 seconds. It happens several times a minute. The screen goes blank and I can’t click on anything. Really aggravating. I would appreciate any help. Thanks

Can someone tell me what settings I need to change to get the suggestions in the URL line to sites I actually go to? I go to mediaite.com and msnbc.com multiple times a day, but if i type the letter "m," Firefox fills in "mail.google.com." I literally never type that! Where is it coming from and why won't it go away? Support says highlight it and do Shift + Delete, but using the arrows takes me to the next item, not the gmail one. what is the reason i can't make that stop? I'm over here and I'm duckduckgo because of the tracking, but this is a really basic search i do all day that is needlessly tedious and it's not the only one.

so like i asked, what settings do i need to check or uncheck to make the suggestions be relevant to stuff i actually search? this seems like such a basic thing--suggest the things they've looked at already before random stuff they they have NEVER searched.

today after 10 years my firefox browser has suddenly refused to load newsmax.com because 'secure connection failed'

my viasat browser continues to load newsmax.com normally without any problems on the same computer using win7 and kaspersky

why is firefox doing this and is there a correction?

Web pages dont look norma, they look more like an FTO download page. This is an all of a sudden issue. Another notebook, mfg, os, browser all the same, so issue is here on this notebook. Everything displayed fine, last nite, today on start up the issue started. This would include sites like ebay,paypal, youtube,, etc. Going to the browser address, pasting it into Google cheome browser, the sites display properly. This is why I keep a second vrowser. Tried the normal cleaning, cache, ccleaner+bleach it+firefox clear data, same bad display. I have grup speed dial extension, with numerous links. I would not be pleased to lose and have to rebuild them if an uninstal/ewinstall is an answer. This is an win7pro os. The image is ow pages load, this is ebay. Suggestions?

A little while ago pages on Firefox stopped fully loading -- pics, graphs. A gaming page doesn't load at all. Another has its headings lined up on the far left of the page. Edge and Chrome are fine. I've rebooted and cleared cache. No change. Any suggestions?

128.0.3 failed to install on my PC. It completely wiped my firefox, my personal account for both PC and Android, wiped all of my extensions and then left a folder called "Old firefox data" on my desktop. Firefox cant use this folder to import anything.

Wtf happened and why is my profile that is connected to my email completely wiped as well? I had a metric ton of bookmarked sites that I use for my websites, design, programming etc saved for my business and now its all gone and even the recovery backup is completely blank.

Hello, I faced such a problem as a very strong contrast on all videos, for example on Youtube. I used firefox 2 years ago and there was no such problem. I tried to reduce the brightness and contrast in the monitor settings, but alas it did not help. Please help me solve the problem

Suddenly, websites in the regular window aren't displaying correctly. It's plain text on a white background. BUT... if I open the same pages in a Private Window, they work fine. How can I remedy this?

When I try to view some video from my security cameras I get the following error message. "No video with supported format and MIME type found". How do I go about fixing this issue? The video whats to open in firefox eveytime.

Sooo frustrated... wrote this back in 2019: I can't believe this is still a problem, I am upgrading to a new laptop and so have to go through setting google.co.uk to be my default search engine - again!? - but I can't seem to make it happen. Can someone please give me the steps again. and can someone explain why it isn't possible to just choose google.co.uk to be the default - there's a whole world out there that isn't in the .com space

surprise surprise it is still a problem and the resolution provided by jscher2000 - Support Volunteer has been moved/removed:

Add-ons site, for example: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/googleuk/ (this one gets UK suggestions, the other three I checked get .com suggestions, if suggestions matter)

I find the mycroft solution doesn't help.

can anyone help with the addon required please? and a plea to make google.co.uk available as a choice please!

I use Firefox as my primary browser for several reasons, but the main one is because it has the best Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature. However, I no longer use Windows and have encountered problems with it on various Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian...). Currently, I'm only using Fedora 40, and the problem persists.

The issue is that when I click on the PiP icon, it activates normally, but when I switch windows or minimize and then maximize Firefox again, the video disappears.

I will attach some screenshots to clarify the issue.

I would like to know if there is any way to resolve this. I’ve already reset the settings, cleared the cache, and tested different installation methods (software store, .tar.bz file, apt, dnf, snap). I’ve tried troubleshooting mode and even installed the Developer Edition, but the problem persists. I’m wondering if this is an issue with the Linux version of Firefox.
