Hello, I have recently downloaded Firefox, and my first impressions have been great, but whilst listening to music on YouTube, I am unable to skip tracks using my Bluetooth headphones. Is this a known issue, and is there an extension I can use to resolve it? Many thanks.

Issue began Monday 7/1 where Thunderbird would not receive new email from AOL. At times it would tell me to enter the password. But the p/w I entered was not correct so that made situation worse. Found "Saved Passwords" in Help->Settings where I was able to retrieve the -correct- p/w for one of the email addresses being actively used in Thunderbird and problem solved. When I went to find the correct p/w for the other email address, the account in "Saved Logins" was not there?? Was odd that the list did display email accounts I haven't used in years, but not the 2nd one that I use daily! I tried changing the p/w at AOL Mail, but that didn't work for either of my two accounts. Bottom line, why isn't lf82me@verizon.net showing up in the "Saved Passwords" in Settings?

Hello! Is there anyway to set a default zoom setting for the iOS browser, like Safari or on the Mozilla desktop version? The default 100% is a little too big for me.

I need to know if this is a safe website for my identity as I've been a victimizing that and I don't need nobody knowing what I'm typing and what I'm googling so I say looking up on the Internet my phone is messed up and I'm taking it back to Cricket today because there was apps installed on my phone that I did not install the security issue and I need to know if this is legit and safe website to use to keep hackers out of my stuff.

I have a custom domain (me@mydomain.com) with email / contacts / calendar hosted by Google Workspace. I initially managed to add both the email and calendar account to Thunderbird but recently the calendar stopped syncing.

I tried to fix the problem by first removing the calendar account. This did not work because the 'Create New Calendar' -> 'On the Network' account wizard does not prompt me for the Google OAuth2 login page but just asks me for a password and fails. I tried to supply several 'Location:' URLs like gmail.com, calendar/accounts.google.com but none lead to the Google OAuth2 page.

Finally I removed the email account too and re-added it. During the new account setup workflow Thunderbird seems to look for calendars too but failed to find any...

How do I proceed? How are you supposed to set up a Google Calendar on a custom domain using the OAuth2 sign-in procedure?

IF I SEND AN EMAIL TO MYSELF, JUST ONE WORD AS A TEST, I HIT "SEND", AND IT IMMEDIATELY GOES AND ARRIVES, AS PER NORMAL. FINE. IF I SEND EXACTLY THE SAME ONE WORD EMAIL TEST TO, FOR EXAMPLE, MY WIFE, OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL RECIEPIENT, IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO EVEN SEND. I GET A PROGRESS BAR AS IF I WAS SENDING A LARGE RAW FILE OR SOMESUCH. LIKEWISE IF I SEND THE EMAIL TO ME AND CC IT TO ONE OTHER PERSON IT TAKES AGES TO SEND. ONLY AN EMAIL TO MYSSELF ALONE WORKS AT THE USUAL SPEED. MY BROADBAND SPEED IS FINE. I HAVE USED THUNDERBIRD FOR YEARS ON DIFFERENT LAPTOPS AND DIFFERENT COMPUTERS WITHOUT THIS ISSUE. I would like messages I identify as junk, or messages automatically identified as junk, go to the spam or junk folder. All junk messages remain the main inbox.

On the other hand, in my "spam" folder are many emails that have gotten sent there automatically, but none of them are identify as spam (by the fire symbol being lit up).

In settings, I have "junk settings, box check on new junk messages to:, other, spam.

When checking my email the 'Thunderbird' status bar says "downloading message' (as normal), but sometimes the message does not appear in my Inbox or any folder.

I'm using Thunderbird 115.12.0 on Linux Ubuntu. The email is downloaded via the POP protocol.

I have checked on the server and nothing is left there.

Using the Thunderbird search function on 'date' only, the e-mails actually in the inbox or folders show up, not the one purported to have been downloaded.

All of my folders are set to 'Unthreaded'.

Any ideas please?

Hi, Any time I'am connecting to email addresses ending by @akeonet.com (SFR compagny) on THUNDERBIRD, I'm receiving a message asking me my password imap.sfr.fr. Same to send a message exit server (STMP) smtp.sfr.fr.

Problem is the existing password is not working anymore with THUNDERBIRD but is still working with the webmail of SFR ????

I'am don't have such problem with addresses ending by @gmail !!!!!

Can you help to reconnect THUNDERBIRD to server SFR/ Neuf ?

I'm using openSUSE Tumbleweed and KDE Plasma. Ever since I updated to Plasma 6.1, Firefox crashes constantly when using Wayland. I'm not having this problem if I'm using X11. Crash reports are sent after every crash so I'm sure someone can reference these. When starting Firefox from a console, I got this message after a crash: "[GFX1-]: Wayland protocol error: wp_linux_drm_syncobj_surface_v1#67: error 5: explicit sync is used, but no release point is set"

Will this get fixed with the next Firefox update? Currently using 127.0.

as stated in the title, my HDD failed the other day and on recovery, my Thunderbird seems to have failed too.

I know (sort of) that it is all driven by the Profile.ini file.

But everytime I relaunch TB (even after what I think is an uninstall and a reinstall) I am getting : "Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible."

I would be happy enough to have a blank TB load up and I would reconfigure my various email accounts. but I cannot seem to do even that.

I know there is a trick to getting to a Thunderbird configurator....but I have forgotten what it is.

Where does TB "look" when it starts up? how would I control that?

I have lost recent activity on home screen. There are blank tiles but nothing is being added.Hovering over tiles nothing happens. How do I get recent activity to appear again ?

The resulting calendar then works for one day but then disables itself and cannot be re-enabled (if I try to enable the calendar, it immediately disables itself again). I think this is happening because the calendar at the webcal link updates to a new file every day, so the specific link that Thunderbird resolves to becomes invalid on a daily basis. Other calendar applications that I use (like the iOS calendar app and the web interface for mailbox.org) do not resolve the link (they just leave it as webcal://github.com/othyn/go-calendar/releases/latest/download/gocal__community_day.ics) and they work fine, which is why I think the link resolution is causing the issue.

Is there a way to get this type of webcal link to work with Thunderbird?

So I've recently shifted from Chrome to Firefox and there's his specific touch pad gesture I set up on windows settings and it acts like media controls, but it seem to be unresponsive. Tried it with Chrome and VLC media player and it worked normally. Tried setting about:config; media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled but its already set to true.

Formatted my phone but playing videos still lags and stutters on Firefox browser on my Samsung. Only happens on Firefox, I've tested on Qwant, Duckduckgo and Brave and this problem doesn't occur. What might be the problem and solution?

It's interesting that sometimes the video plays fine until I unmute it. Sometimes the problem goes away after I stop and play or refresh the page. I often have to play the video on a different browser.

So, videos work fine on other browsers so I discart being a phone problem. But on my other phone this problem doesn't happen with firefox.

I've been for several months looking for help/answer/fix for this issue. And I've been with firefox for ever and I don't mind minor bugs and problems but this is starting to be a bit annoying and more and more I feel like I need to move on to a new browser.

Having followed the instructions at https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/modern-authentication-methods-now-needed-to-continue-syncing-outlook-email-in-non-microsoft-email-apps-c5d65390-9676-4763-b41f-d7986499a90d to update the security settings on my outlook/hotmail email accounts Thunderbird no longer reliably saves/enters the passwords. The password is saved in settings as that is where I copy it from to enter manually but why is Thunderbird not doing the entry as previously. It is not every log in and not always the same account, but regularly one or the other will come up with "enter your credentials" Also occasionally the credentials screen will flash on screen and then disappear, not necessarily for the account I am using at the time but one of the others. Firefox is very dear to me. I use it on my computer all the time for how much more relatively secure it is from other browsers. But Android version is a hellish nightmare. When I open the app, even with no previous tabs on, it will not be responsive for more than 30-45 seconds for seemingly no reason. Same thing when I kill the app and start it again. If it does have open tabs, it will either not be able to fetch their sum number to be displayed on the top right corner until that aforementioned timespan passes, and/or I wont be able to remove/add tabs until again that period of time passes! This is a blocking issue that's been there for well over a year and a half, if not longer!
