After the most recent Firefox update, my browser has been repeatedly crashing multiple times a day, but it doesn't even show up in the crash reports tab. In fact, the oldest crash report had been from August. It'll start by freezing up, and then it will stop responding, and even if I wait for a bit, it never starts up again. Sometimes I cant even close it normally (like with the "would you like to close (insert program) or wait for it to respond?) panel) and have to resort to using the task manager. Other browsers work just fine, but Firefox has been a long time favorite, so I'm hesitant to stop using it altogether despite it's current issues.

I've tried just about everything, including troubleshooting mode - it still crashes - and refreshing it repeatedly. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling, doing full scans of my computer multiple times for malware - coming up empty - and doing full computer restarts as well. Nothing I've done has managed to work, and every other suggestion is something I've already tried. I'm even beginning to think it's a problem with my PC itself, even though Firefox is the only thing having this issue.

This never happened before the most recent update, and my current version is 106.0.2. I'm not sure what to do now, and I'm very tech-illiterate, so I'd like some help please.

crash reports - I KNOW you asked for 5 or 10, but this may show the SCALE of the issue (BTW, I'm on Manjaro / KDE, all software up to date as of 11/1/22 17:30)

Not sure which update caused the issue, since I've been delaying updates for a little while (maybe 15 days or so). Immediately after starting Firefox, the Intel graphics driver stops working, which causes Firefox to hang on a white screen. The windows warning is something close to "Intel graphics driver stopped responding and has recovered". The only way I can start Firefox is in troubleshoot mode. I tried disabling hardware acceleration, which solves the problem but I'd like to keep using the GPU so it's not really a good solution. So I forced Firefox to use the NVIDIA GPU (gtx 960m) on the NVIDIA control panel. This worked, Firefox starts and works as normal again but within just a few hours has already caused the NVIDIA GPU drivers to stop responding once, prompting Firefox to stop responding too and hang on a white screen. Restarting Firefox fixed the problem. This might have been a fluke but I'd like to keep using the Intel integrated GPU, if possible.

I'm using Windows 8.1 and my laptop has an i7-4720HQ (Intel HD Graphics 4600) and a GTX 960m. I'm using the latest version of Firefox 106.0.2

Any idea what might be causing the problem? I haven't had any trouble with either GPU on any other occasion

Hi, can i ask you please don't publish new Version of Mozilla Firefox everyday? I use it and everyday and every Time that i open it, there is a new Version of Firefox, that i should download. please first make all of changes and after that maybe one Time per Month is okey but not every Hour and every Day. I manage several systems that use various ports. I cannot get any override to work making firefox useless to do my job.

how do i unlock the privacy and security panel so i can make changes; i am a solo practioner and have 2 computers; one has that panel unlocked, and the other is locked. How to unlock? thanks

The tool tip colour for the Downloads is white text over a yellow background - it's practically impossible to read. Perhaps this is an error with the release, but if not, can this extreme lack of textual contrast be changed? I need dark / black text on light backgrounds.

It seems like a malware but I ran a few different tools and nothing was found. Every time I search something is shows google results for half a second then goes to Bing. Any ideas?

I am using Firefox for ARM64 Windows and noticed that the browser will lock up at random (roughly every half an hour, and usually after trying to navigate to a new page). As the browser doesn't actually crash, just freezes, I have no crash reports to submit.

I am using a Windows Devkit for ARM.

As a developer myself, my instinct tells me this could be an issue with Firefox's JIT for Arm64 platforms but I have no proof.

i accidentally deleted 1 month out of my history from the side tab, is there any way to retrieve it back, i have not shut down FF as yet. thank you in advance. Garry (member)

For the recent past, the font size on FF tabs, url, bookmark bar, tabs and anything else to do with the actual FF program has a font so small that it is unreadable unless I use the W10 magnifier. I have spent hours, days and weeks trying everything I can find to increase the font size and nothing has worked. I am vision impaired and understand that everything cannot be adjusted to my needs BUT there are hundreds of postings on line by people with good vision complaining about the non adjustable font sizes. Does FF have any intentions on finding a fix for this? I am an avid user of FF but am at a point with my vision to where it is too problematic for me to continue using. If you cannot fix this issue then I must find a program that does not have this problem. It may very well be a conflict between FF and W10 but even that were the case, there are supposed to be a lot of intellingent individuals that should be able to remedy this situation. Please advise of your intentions as soon as possible in order that I may proceed with my plans. Sincerely, Ron Burnes

Hello. Why does the safe search option when I search for something repeatedly change from where I set it, at "off," to "moderate?" It's very annoying to have to keep changing it back to off. Does it change to moderate on its own when I clear the cache? If so, why is there not a setting in preferences so it's permanently set to whatever I want it to be until I change it, cache clearing or not?

Thanks for any help on this. Recently I was organizing fonts on my machine [macbookpro] and something happened to Arial, the font that Firefox uses. I've uploaded some screenshots. The letters are all jumbled up. I tried to investigate a solution in my preference folder but couldn't find anything about resting a font.

I just recently went from Brave browser back to the old days on Firefox but there is one thing that I miss and I cant find any information anywhere about that when I opened new tabs on Brave it didnt switch to the new tab directly. Sometimes I wanna open alot of links from a page but its a real hazzle here when I need to go back to the old tab again everytime. Is there a setting for that anywhere?

I don't want any part of my sites exposed to the wider internet, so I'm not going to have ssl certificates.

I don't want to use self signed certificates either. Since it's all local, http is fine. Firefox should not override access of http to https.

At this point, I can only assume this is a bug?

Today a Firefox box popped up to try some new colors (which was suppose to be a representation of my being or something like that). There were several colors to choose from so I tried it. The menu bar is now the color I chose. But suppose I want to change back to the standard FF color or some other color, how do I do that?
