Recently became unable to update Spybot and Malwarebytes. Ran Windows Defender which didn't find anything but when I run ClamWinPortable, it produced and moved the file to quarantine. This makes Firefox unusable. Reinstalled Firefox via another browser and the same thing happens. Do you have any suggestions please?

Yesterday firefox private window comes up on my browser...I do NOT want that, how to get rid of it?? My desktop is set up with menus for quick reference; I cannot get past this private window

Very recently Firefox just stopped displaying the date/time stamp on Facebook on a PC. Nothing has changed on my end. One day it worked, next day it didn't. I am using the latest version of Firefox (115.111.0.esr). I manage several pages and I need to see when people have posted. This is so annoying that I will likely switch everything to a new browser if this can't get fixed. Upon looking this up, I see this is a known issue. Please help. You can see in the attached posts how all posts appear with no date.

Shoot!! I just filled this out, and somehow, it reverted me back to This screen again!! I am not a programmer or IT Guy. What I am is a person that is Very alert to sudden changes in my experiences. I retired 14 years ago, as a Manager in a Manufacturing industry. Very familiar using desktop. For some reason, about a couple weeks ago, some of my sites have begun using google adds, over and over. When I click on the "X", wants to know why, etc. I use Malware Bytes, scans every day. Does NOT discover any malware, but I KNOW something has changed to allow the bombardment! Is it possible it's just a single site that I had to change and log in to? Even if so, WHY doesn't Malware stop them? Should I try a system restore to weeks ago? I am on here Every day.so I'm pretty cognizant of changes! ADVICE PLEASE!! Bruce Pierce

Recently Firefox stopped displaying the time/date stamp on Facebook posts. Works fine in other browsers. Doing some research, it seems like this was an issue previously. Wish Firefox could fix this on their end. What to do in the meantime?

Hyatt.com can be loaded on other browsers but not on Firefox. There is just a blank page with no error message. There is an archived thread on support.mozilla.or called "hyatt.com". The suggested solutions don't work or are too complicated. So please solve the problem. And STOP archiving threads that are still an unsolved problem! Am using Win8.1 and auto-updating Firefox.

I like using Firefox browser every day. After installing and running Avast antivirus protection (program version : 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.832)), Avast notification always show this message every time I start up Firefox : please check the uploaded images : FPA Scam.jpg.

I already checked the extenstion, the Settings, and the Advance Settings of Firefox browser. I'd like to know if there is any parameter related to engine.forexpeacearmy.com and it is enabled. Unfortunately, I can't found any related parameters.

So, I decide to contact Firefox support to find out what happen to my Firefox browser, why it always call the forexpeacearmy site at the start up, and finally I want to remove it. Because I'm affraid it could be some kind of trojans / malwares and put my laptop into risks.

Kindly need your advise. Thank you.

I get the following message when going online with Firefox: "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." I've followed all the prompts to restart the computer, refresh the computer, delete the favicons.sqlite and places.sqlite and it won't allow me to delete them. This happened yesterday as well. Yesterday I could delete those files and everything was restored. But today I can't get it to work.

Firefox autoprints Microsoft Word and Excel documents despite setting otherwise.

about:config print.always_print_silent is now set to false. (was somehow set to true). After I set to false and reboot, same behavior occurs. I verified that same behavior does not occur in other browser.

My firefox browser stopped working today. It will not load any website. It just sits there and the dot just goes back and forth. It worked fine yesterday. 3-2-2024. My email is randrcv@sti.net.

For the last couple of months I have been getting frequent (not always) hangs on exiting Firefox. Sometimes get the windows message of not enough threads. Sometimes goes to "Firefox is not responding". Always have to reboot to clear.

Whenever i attempt to save my passwords or login, it will not be saved in the browser. It will also prompt me to enter in my primary password to view saved logins which are still not saved in the browser. I have enabled autofill on the account but the issue continues to happen.

When I login into some WEB site it goes in to an endless loop continues? It used to work before you forced the download of version of 0esr, when the old none 0esr worked fine. As a example: I am trying to login to xcelenergy.com site and it keeps flipping back and forth with these two lines ( parts of lines deleted because you might get into my account )in the address bar -

I have included the 2 of screen captures that it flip's through of maybe a another 2 screens (can not tell, it flips through to fast).

 Firefox version using now:      115.6.0esr (64-bit) or the 32bit Version, I tried both. Then load an old back version it works fine but then it gets upgrade to the new version again.
  my version of windows:         8.1, with all Firefox ad blockers and other ad blockers turned off or on does not matter. 
      The reason I will not upgrade my software is that I would have to buy a lot of new software upgrades that I use, and can  

not afford at this time on my retirement.

I am once again having issue with Hotmail and Firefox. It's working perfectly fine in Pale Moon, but it's gone totally blank in Firefox. It worked totally fine yesterday, but today I cannot access ANYTHING in Hotmail. Firefox says it's up to date, but usually when I start having issues with Hotmail, it's because Firefox needs to update. Please help fix this problem! All other websites work fine! Thank you!
