All of a sudden I can't access Lowe's or Home Depot web sited from my browser. I get the following message-

Never had this problem before. I get the same message when attempting tp access Home Depot.

Since yesterday I've been unable to sign into Earthlink webmail. I worked with their chat support this morning, clearing cache, history, etc., but no luck. I'm able to sign in on Edge. So Earthlink suggested I contact you.

In the last few days I am getting tabs crashing constantly (Gah. Your tab just crashed). This has never happended before. I have AVG antivirus and have downloaded the newest version of firefox. Is there anything else I can do to stop this happening.

Soooo! everytime I try to open cloudflare, no matter what site it comes from, the connection refuses to go through and I'm only having this problem on firefox, I came from opera gx, had no problems with cloudflare till now!

I have been using Firefox for over a decade. My doctors systems use MyChart for communication with patients. All of a sudden, it takes minutes to load ANY and EVERY page. Their IT says it is Firefox is not compatible with MyChart. Why all of a sudden is it not compatible??? I don't want to use Edge or Chrome....especially edge.

When I try calling some of my Facebook friends from my PC, I get this message "Video calling is not supported on this browser " . But when I try calling other Facebook friends, everything works just well. When I try calling my Facebook friends from my cellphone, no problem.

I am tryign to access my firm's MetroBank account through Firefox and, after putting in my login details, I get a blank, white screen. I've tried with the same details through Chrome and it works. I've also disabbled pop up blocking and ad blockers.

Any other tips on what I could look for?

I prefer the Firefox browser. Outlook 365 used to open perfectly on my laptop, but it does not open now. Nothing different was done. I trouble shooted this with Outlook support, but it turns out that it is a Firefox problem.

Outlook 365 opens perfectly in Chrome on this laptop and on my phone and it still opens perfectly in Firefox on my old Macbook Pro from 2013.

What shall I do?

I've tried downloading 2 different add-ons to replace loaded words in newspaper articles with more accurate ones. However, they are useless unless I can specify which words to replace. There used to be an option to edit settings for a particular add-on in about:addons, but it has vanished. Where can it be found now?

Yesterday I set up a new computer, installed Firefox and logged in to my Firefox account. Everything went well, my bookmarks appears, all (!) my extensions were installed, everything looked fine. Then I went about my way configuring unrelated Linux stuff, using Firefox as normal on both computers, no problems.

But at some point, I suddenly noticed that on both computers, the icons for most of my extensions had disappeared. And sure enough, looking in about:addons, all that was left were five addons (Dark Reader, Simple Translate, uBlock Origin, Dictionary Anywhere, OneTab). And on both computers, including my main laptop (!), where I hadn't done anything other than clicking around in websites.

And it only affected the extensions, my bookmarks, history, etc all is fine and synced between the computers.

No restarting of Firefox, choosing different profiles in about:profiles (there was only one other, a mostly empty one), nothing got them back. And looking in ~/.mozilla/firefox/, sure enough extensions.json and all extension related folders had been changed, looking as if I never had more than these five extensions installed.

And when I installed one of my usual extensions again, all of it's settings and customizations were back to default. So this is not just a case of having to reinstall a few extensions. All custom uBlock filters, all Tampermonkey scripts, etc, everything is gone.

I tried looking around on the web for solutions, but it appears that there is no one who has had this exact issue before, and I couldn't find any indication that there is any way to revert such an error by Firefox Sync.

To my luck, I have a secondary laptop where I should have a mostly up-to-date instance of my Firefox profile, from which I will now try to recover my extension data, but if that weren't the case, years of fine-tuned settings and customizations would be gone.

As people rely on Firefox Sync to back up their Firefox data, instead of backing up their Firefox data "against" Firefox Sync failing like this, I'd think this is not something that ever should be possible to happen. At the very least, there should be some way to revert errors like this. Perhaps Firefox Sync could store backups either server side or client side before syncing deletions like this?

Recently Firefox always has the error "failed to check for update". I have tried restarting my pc and running as admin. I am on windows 10.

I have been able to manually install the latest version by installing it over the top of my current install, how can I fix the error to be sure that my browser will auto update?

Discovered that until now I had been unable to store passwords on this browser, and discovered I would need to set a Primary Password before being able to set any. I followed the recommended instructions to set one, but no matter what I entered, it would be unable to set. (Password quality meter was not full (75-80%~), if that is significant.)

After this, I would receive continuous pop-up windows asking to set a Primary Password, but all attempts to set such a password would fail (Window named :"Alert", with text stating "Unable to Change Password.") These would persist until I shut down my computer, and I stopped receiving these popup windows, but ultimately, I am still unable to set a primary password., and thus, am unable to save passwords.

(Pop-up Windows were labelled "Change Password", and had text stating "Security Device: Software Security Device", along with having the password change form)

Prompting window for primary password failed to show up after this upgrade.

1. when I opened Firefox, it did not show up. 2. when I opened about:logins, it did not show up but alerted that I should enter primary password to access passwords. There was a "Log in" button after the alert, but nothing happened after I clicked that. 3. I can't access any of my password unless I remove Primary password.

Any idea?

I get the message: "Uh oh, we couldn't load this page at the moment. Thank you for your patience as we work on this. Please try going back to the home page or logging out" when trying to login to a patient portal site. I have previously logged into this site on numerous occasions and I can login using Safari. I've cleared the cache, cookies and history, rebooted Firefox and even threw in a few chants for good measure - nothing helped! I've not changed settings recently either. I'm at a loss, can you please help? Thank you, Edouard Cantin.

I am trying to go to mylogin.aflac.com which I always went to and was fine and now all the sudden I get that I need a passkey now. see attached for problem and please fix it. thanks

I've seen a few submissions describing the same or similar issues, but is there a consistent, effective way of changing the time zone in Firefox? It keeps defaulting to the wrong time zone (despite everything else on my system displaying the correct time zone) and has been doing so for weeks. Solutions appreciated!

Due to a recent major security breach I started changing all of my passwords on my main desktop, I did not have sync on at the time. I then opened up my work laptop (again unsynced) and decided I should really use the sync feature to transfer my 500+ passwords onto my laptop for when I travel.

When I got home that evening, I turned on the sync feature on my main desktop, unfortunately it pulled all of my compromised passwords from my laptop and overwrote the ones on my main desktop. Is there anyway to restore my pre-sync passwords and ensure that they get transferred to my laptop instead please.
