I just started getting this error on 13 August 2024. “XULRunner Error: Platform version ‘129.0.1’ is not compatible [etc.]”. Is there a solution? I can't even get in to see what version of FF I have.

I don't want to lose all my bookmarks if I reinstall Firefox. And I noticed in past similar problems, the prolem may persist with a newly loaded Firefox.

My tabs crash very often. 6+ times per session. This happens on YouTube and Amazon, and can happen with no site loaded, crashed when I went to about:crashes. This also happens in Troubleshoot Mode.

Hello. Recently I've noticed video quality has been reduced on amazon prime video. I get a message saying my hardware doesn't meet HDCP requirements.

I've already tried playing the same video on edge, and the quality selector was fine there, full HD video.

my old computer died, but I was able to recover my hard drive to another dish, however I do not know what to search for on that disk to get my old firefox profile which has all of my bookmarks etc.

Today, a white bar about 1 inch wide is at the top of my screen blocking the tool bar and access to other info. How do i remove it?

I have restarted my computer and closed the browser. Still there.

My screen went black this morning and I couldn't get the screen to reappear. I turned the power off, then waited a minute or two before turning it back on. My usual screen with all the apps was gone and replaced by a generic "windows" screen. I had to re-enter all kinds of information and I'm finally able to see my bookmarks, but all of my documents and pictures stored on my computer are completely gone. Did Mozilla/Firefox perform an update? And if so, how do I get back to my personalized screen - and more importantly my stored documents and pictures?!!

When I try to print and use the "print to pdf" printer, the save button does nothing. I can print to my printer, but I cannot create pdf's. I am using Firefox 129.0 and Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS

Hello, I am writing to you because there have been some problems with YouTube lately when using Firefox. The video won't buffer more than a few seconds, and sometimes I receive an error message saying, "There was an error. Try refreshing the page or try again later." I tried using Safari on my phone, and it is working just fine, so it looks like it is not my internet connection. I am using uBlock Origin and other add-ons. To troubleshoot, I followed the instructions from one of the engineers of uBlock Origin here: https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/issues/20586

He recommended reporting it to Firefox in the comments below to another user, but none of it worked for me. Therefore, I am contacting you to see if we can solve this issue. Thank you very much.

I donated to AdBlock on my other computer (Firefox) had to uninstall Firefox because it opened up in a tiny window to the left of the screen so In uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it and now the AdBlock is gone The payment went to their processor "Paddle" the payment is in my online bank statement

For two days now Gmail has been unstable on Firefox. It keeps displaying this message: "Oops - The system encountered a problem (#001)".

While in that state, the send messages folder is empty, and I can't attach documents to an email.

Google suggests clearing the browser cache and cookies. Don't want to do that - much work required to recover.

I use Firefox as my primary browser for several reasons, but the main one is because it has the best Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature. However, I no longer use Windows and have encountered problems with it on various Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian...). Currently, I'm only using Fedora 40, and the problem persists.

The issue is that when I click on the PiP icon, it activates normally, but when I switch windows or minimize and then maximize Firefox again, the video disappears.

I will attach some screenshots to clarify the issue.

I would like to know if there is any way to resolve this. I’ve already reset the settings, cleared the cache, and tested different installation methods (software store, .tar.bz file, apt, dnf, snap). I’ve tried troubleshooting mode and even installed the Developer Edition, but the problem persists. I’m wondering if this is an issue with the Linux version of Firefox.

Westpac keep telling me it is the fault of my browser. While I was trying safe mode, deleting the cookies and cache etc. I came across this bit of odd information -

Westpac have been telling me for two months that it is Firefox's fault, but I don't see how, given that it has always worked before. Finding this data makes me think the problem is Westpac's fault but they just keep saying the same old thing - use another browser. Well I don't want to! I have visual difficulties and my Firefox is heavily customised to account for that.

What is actually happening is that when I enter my information on the log In Page: https://banking.westpac.com.au/wbc/banking/handler?TAM_OP=login&logout=false then click on the sign in button the screne goes white like it is going to log in and then the sign in page comes back up without the information I had entered.

Is there any thing you can do to help me?

Hi @ all, is there any way to open a website that i trzust inb, but that runs with an old TLS-version?

I tried to open the user interfaceof my D-LINK NAS via the IP-address and only received this error:

"Error: Secured connection failed

'When I try to sign in to Facebook on my laptop, it says that I am using the wrong password. But that password works for Facebook on my iPad and my iPhone. I'm wondering whether simply changing the password is a solution or whether this situation indicates something else is going on.
