I have developed a web application (wordpress) that shows a number of thumbnail images, each connected to an mp4 video. There is custom javascript such that if a user selects a number of thumbnail images, creating a playlist, all of the associated videos will play back in the order selected. This works perfectly in the Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Opera browsers. However, in Firefox, rather than playing back the videos in sequence, after each video, a gray screen appears in the video player (JWPlayer) that says the file is corrupted. The mp4 files are not corrupt since they work well in the other browsers. Also, once that gray box appears, by clicking the "Play Video"button the next video in the sequence will play but this must be repeated after each video in the playlist. Is there a setting that can be adjusted so that sequence will play in FIrefox? Is there a default setting that prevents the sequential playback?

Sorry I really do not know anything about web development but would appreciate some help. For the past week or 2 metamask extension will not open properly. Upon clicking the icon it just perpetually loads. I have the same issue when using any kind of wallet connect to metamask, be it on uniswap or metamask website for example. I have cleared cookie cache. I have tried both disabling state partitioning using network.cookie.cookieBehavior. I have also tried setting this to 0 to allow cookies, these did not work. I have of course restarted my computer/browser. This is definitely an issue with my firefox because I am able to use the metamask extension in chrome. I have attached screenshots of the console & debugger from the metamask site in the hopes it has some info that anyone may be able to provide advice. In the debugger & in my searching I see an issue with "source maps", in my debugger it is saying "no source map found" - again I cannot apologise enough for my lack of understanding but if this is my issue would anyone be so kind as to explain a fix in laymans terms.

Beginning about a week ago, I have been unable to open LinkedIn Sales Navigator from Firefox. I am able to open Linkedin from Firefox and able to open Sales Navigator from other browsers.

Is there any option to add keyboard shortcut feature to built-in translator, so I can quickly enable/disable it? I use it a lot and I switch very often between original page and translation, and clicking every time at the icon in search-bar is a bit troublesome :P

Hi - I have always had recommended stories on new tab. Since upgrade to v128 they've disappeared.

I have been through all the troubleshooting but nothing works.

browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.feeds.system.topstories is set to 'true'

Hi, I've been having a strange issue running Firefox browser on my Mac Pro M1. On websites like Figma or Maps, where the user can zoom in and out of a portion of the interface, my zoom-in pinches may cause the non-scalable part of the view to also zoom in. This happens if, by mistake, the starting position of my pinching is within the area of the non-scalable UI. See attached image as an example (the inspect tool remains of the right size, but as you can see, the left-hand-side interface is zoomed in, too).

If I try to restore the original size with the Cmd+- shortcut, the baseline is taken as my current zoomed-in view, so zooming out further just makes the text smaller in an already gigantic ui. Closing and reopening the tab also doesn't work.

Normally, performing the pinching-out gesture over the non-scalable part solves the problem. However, for some reason this stopped working today, and I'm now stuck with an unworkable view of Figma.

How can I fix this?

Several commands do not have corresponding keybindings. In particular, the ones I'm interested in are "Go one word to the left/right" as shown in the attached image.

Is there a reason why these are left out? Firefox is the only program on MacOS, that I have encountered, where it is impossible to have the caret skip words forward/backwards.

I can use Karabiner-Elements to fix whatever weirdness might exist, but not if Firefox has no way to actually trigger that command, nor a way to rebind keys in order to do so either.

Maybe I've missed something obvious.

PS: Writing this was annoying, exactly for the reason explained. The weird thing is that CTRL+backspace is the only "make key X operate on a whole word instead of a single character" that actually works. For example, "backspace" removes a single character in text edit fields. "ctrl+backspace" would remove the whole word.

PPS: I don't care too much if the modifier key is CTRL or CMD. I can rebind that. I just need it to either be *something*, or that one can set it to *something.

its been a really problem whenever i am working on fox. before a week only 1 tab gets open automatically now from this week several tabs are opening.

Until recently I used to be able to clear my searches ( with clock icon) in the address bar, by doing the following:

 "Type or paste enough text for Firefox to show the item in the drop-down.
   Press the ↓ down arrow key to highlight the item.
   Hold down the Shift key and press Delete on your keyboard."

This no longer works, can anyone please tell me why it no longer works, and what is the alternative.

Using Firefox, I would like to download PDF documents that are online directly to a Google Drive folder. Is that possible with Firefox? Thanks in advance for a response!
