When I try to access an http:// site, the link is upgraded to https:// regardless of this setting.

This broke after a recent update to the browser. I cannot specifically say which upgrade, but it worked a month ago, now it doesn't anymore.

It may be worth noting that this broke in Brave (based on Chromium) at the same time.

I am on macos 14.5, and Firefox 128.0

I have enabled "Require device sign in to fill and manage passwords.". Which should ask for device authentication when I try to do anything with the saved passwords. And it does that when I go to "My passwords" and try to access them.

But, it doesn't ask for device authentication when I am using saved passwords on login forms. Is this intended? Anyone can go to the login form, fill the saved password without authentication and then see it.

Half the time when I go to a website like Google Flights or something to do with Google it just automatically brings me to my employer's website like to sign in and use the Google tools there. I don't even work for them anymore and I don't know how to get rid of it automatically wanting me to go there. It won't even let me use Google Flights because it says it not supported by my employer. Hello, recently I've been having issues where if misclick anywhere on the title bar (even in the small space between bookmarks) firefox will minimize/restore when I didn't want it too. How do I disable this in about:config?

Ever since last update to Firefox, there are now intermittent drop outs in Audio, whether it's in media player(s) , youtube videos, or audio edited softwares.

And this ONLY happens when Firefox is open. 

If this isn't fixed soon .. and i mean SOON, I will be forced to switch to Opera Browser, where this Does NOT happen. Thank You

Got a new computer. Exported and imported bookmarks. However, that did not copy over my bookmark bar. Is there a way to get it to copy or do I have to recreate it?

It won't save open tabs when I close Firefox. Each time I have to go to: Setting>>History>>Recently closed windows. In General settings it's ticked Open previous windows and tabs. I already tried to turn off all extensions.

Kroger web site will not open with fire fox but will open with google chrome. It is my survey site http: not https. I have this setting under privacy and settings. My browser keeps crashing like the system would have a defective RAM module witch has just been changed with a new one. I have created a new browser session and cleaned cache and cookies. The crash catch you randomly and then get fixated on a web page.... if i open amazon it crashes, then if i restart the browser it crashes again...like it would do when filling a defective RAM and finding a broken byte. I tested it for 24 hours from a live usb of memtest86+ and i got no error.

If i go in the minidumps folder i find it empty...

Can we verify it's not a problem of Firefox? At the moment Windows doesn't crash, it crashes only Firefox
