Okay, so starting a few months ago, ANY time I try to search Google from my Firefox start/home page... Nothing. It just will not go. It just loads forever. 3 out of 5 times it will not do anything. However, I can go to Opera which has all the same plugins and its totally fine. Most times i open a new tab I know confidently that whatever I try to search for is not going to load.

This keeps up Im gonna uninstall Firefox and just start using Opera full time.

Hello, I did everything mentioned in support articles, but the tabs on firefox are still crashing frequently, sometimes the first I open, sometimes it's the third... But it is making my work really difficult. I'm having problems with a website constantly asking me to accept cookie permissions. It happens on some other sites occasionally, but this particular site is one that I use each day.

When I visit the site I get the cookie permissions box. I click accept all cookies. No matter how many links I click I am presented with the box yet again. It doesn't happen with Chrome, Edge or Brave.

Hello, When I tried to use ChatGPT on Firefox, It showed only white blank page. I can't type or do anything to ChatGPT. But in Chrome it works fine. I tried to reset Firefox but still be the same. Does anyone know how to fix this? It happened yesterday.

How do I stop these recurring update notices? Every 3 seconds. I'll update when I am ready as this current one does not affect me at all. For a while I fell for it, stopped what I was doing and did the ridiculous update, it still continues! I can move on to a different non-Mozilla browser if I have too. Return the option to not update and/or do it manually. FF127.0.2

YouTube has been so slow in Firefox. It just takes a ton of time for the video to actually play. It's just a spinning circle in a video. I can refresh several times and then it plays. I cleared my cache, history, data...etc everything from Firefox. That seemed to help for a bit. Then it just resulted back to being slow. It's just in Firefox. I played videos in Edge. It was fine. No issues. It's just FireFox. It started most recently too. It wasn't happening a week ago. I even tried going back to an old version of Firefox. Didn't help. Anyone know how to fix? Not using ad blockers either FYI. I just want videos to play normally and fast.

Why can't I get to my e-mail or bank website on Firefox without jumping through a bunch of hoops? I don't have this problem on Chrome. Do I need to switch browsers?

Netzero says I am located in Phoenix, Az. I am in Tucson, Arizona. It won't let me change it. I have tried numerous times but to no avail. What is the solution to this? I am going crazy trying to rectify this on my own.

On a LIvestream I'm getting an UNDEFINED error code I've cleared cookies but the problem continued I don't know how to clear if it's on you end or the web site I use to be able to beat it before it appears not it will not let me watch any shows at all

PROBLEM: After a restart of Windows 10 and re-starting Firefox, a Firefox window with a YouTube web page in a tab will start playing unbidden. When multiple Firefox windows with multiple tabs each are in use multiple YouTube videos will start playing. (Only one of possibly multiple YouTube tabs per FireFox window, I believe.) The cacaphony is annoying. Tracking down the offending tabs is difficult. (There is no "Show tabs playing media" feature in Firefox.)

QUESTIONS: (1) How do I prevent Firefox from playing media (YouTube and others) unbidden when Firefox re-starts and re-loads its tabs? (2) How do I quickly find which Firefox windows have a tab that is playing media? (3) How do I quickly find which Firefox tabs are playing media? (4) How can YouTube videos be prevented from automatically starting when a Firefox web page with that video is re-loaded?

I use this 2 websites almost on a daily basis: www.saij.gob.ar and www.cij.gov.ar. They are official government websites that contain information about the laws and jurisprudence of my country. Since about last friday, whenever I access any page on those websites they don't display all the information they are supposed to. In the case of saij.gob.ar pages only show the header, but not the full text of the law. In the case of cij.gov.ar/sentencias.html when I try to download a court ruling I get a 0kb file. I thought it was an issue with the websites, but it turns out I can access them just fine from my phone using Chrome. I can even access them on the same pc, using Firefox private browser mode. It seems to be an issue with the "regular" version of the browser. This is a big deal to me, because I need to use those websites for work.

Notice how small the scrollbar is in the second image, because there's a lot more content on the exact same page. Before you ask: I already tried accessing the website on "troubleshooting mode", it keeps displaying it wrong.

Is there a way to open many pages quickly from history?

Whenever I'm in history and I open a page, the history window closes. In order to open another page from the history I need to go back to menu > history, search through history again, and go from there. I want to open like 5 tabs real quick, as I imagine it 5 quick middle clicks in the history window without the history window closing. Is there any preference for this or extension?

I have the same problem as described here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1236002 I am using Windows 10 with the latest version of Firefox, and I have a fresh profile (5 months old) while using a maximum of 10 windows. Initially, it happened a few times a day, but today it’s a 50:50 chance that Firefox will freeze completely, and I have to restart it entirely. Sometimes I do this up to 30 times a day. If I use drag and drop, it doesn't happen.

I am not using network drives, nor are there any unavailable resources on the network, and explorer works fine the entire time.

I'm trying to use a security key for my Vanguard site. I've tried with Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Chrome. I can get to almost the end but get stopped-- I can't get no father to "connect and activate." I get a message saying--"Vanguard is requesting extended information about your security key which may affect your privacy. Firefox can anonymize this for you but the website might decline this key. If declined try again." I talked to Vanguard for help but they didn't know how to help. The key is uTrust FIDO2 NFC. USB-A NFC Certified Security Key. I believe the problem may be that this key will link all my accounts in Firefox ( and will also link if I use any other browser.)

Using an authenticator for one account is safe, but allowing a website to ask for extended information for multiple accounts using the same authenticator can permit that website to identify a link between those accounts. If you are concerned about having accounts linked together in this way, you should either deny extended information when prompted, or use different authenticators for the different accounts. This linkability is based on the authenticators, and not on your browser. If you use the same authenticator with different browsers, websites can still identify a link between multiple accounts. I use Mozilla Firefox for work. Part of my work requires I use the GlobalProtect VPN client. When I log on to the VPN, everything appears to be fine. The problem arises when I log out of the VPN client, such as needing to switch to a different VPN.

When I log out of the VPN client, Mozilla slows down massively. I get the following errors when trying to access websites.

PR_END_OF_FILE Timeout

I thought it was a DNS issue, but the change I made previously did not prove to be a reliable fix, and I do not actually know the root cause of what is happening. Firefox returns to normal ONLY after a full computer restart. At this point I am considering switching browsers as, despite Firefox's functionality, it is starting to interfere with my work.

I have used other VPNs, such as Fortigate VPN, and not encountered anything like this.

Any advice or guidance would be appreciated.

I appreciated how easy it was to restore my bookmarks, but I also discovered another problem in the process. When I went to sort my bookmarks by name, it sorted but added in a gazillion bookmarks that had been deleted many years ago. I have no idea how or why this is happening. Again, I need help. This was, of course, what happened when I asked for help previously. Somehow the sorting (by Name) has been corrupted.

I just sorted my bookmarks by name and what came back was a list a mile long of bookmarks that included folders and pages that have been deleted for years. If I want to clean the list up, it will take me an eternity. I have no idea how this happened or what i can do to regain the current list of bookmarks that I had. I really need help.
