I sometimes have a problem connecting to a URL. It does not make any difference which URL. Microsoft Edge has the same problem when this occurs.

I have two network connections. One is via Ethernet and one via WiFi. I generally don't connect the WiFi since I am sitting next to my router. Yesterday, when this occurred, I connected the WiFi and everything worked. I thought it had something to do with my WiFi, but today when it failed I tried the same thing and the problem continued.

I ran the Microsoft troubleshooter and it displayed that I was connected to the Internet.

When this occurs I can ping my router successfully, but I cannot connect to my router via Firefox or Microsoft Edge.

Today I rebooted my router, even though other devices do not have a problem connecting to the Internet, and when the boot was completed everything worked. When I rebooted the router my PC indicated that it did not have a connection and when it was able to access the router initially it indicated that I did not have a connection to the Internet. When my PC indicated it had an Internet connection Firefox functioned correctly.

I have a UPS which has my router, modem, and desktop PC connected. We have had power failures and either my PC is turned off or I turn it off. My router and modem continue to function and we can access the internet via tablets or cell phones. I was wondering if the power failure somehow could have affected my network provider and I needed to reset my router so that it could establish a new connection to the modem. Don't know if this makes any sense or not.

I have Microsoft Office 2021 which is Microsoft's perpetual license version of Office 365. I use Outlook in Microsoft Office 2021. What surprised me is that when this is going on Outlook will function correctly.

Is there anything I can access in Firefox that can help me determine what is going on, or do you have any suggestions?

I use Duck duck go as my default search engine. I've noticed that after the last couple of updates, the default has changed to Google. This has not happened before. There must be a bug somewhere that is causing this to happen in the new version of Firefox.

Firefox (a new up-to-date install) has been very crashy on my new computer -- PC running Windows 11.

I ran troubleshooting mode and it shows 0 crash reports.

On my old computer, I had 4 Firefox windows open, a half dozen extensions, ~200 tabs and it was quite stable. This brand new install is running one window, 3 extensions, a dozen tabs open, and freezes and crashes pretty much every time I try to read my email (or do anything else that involves clicking).

How do get a stable Firefox?

why does firefox open 15 sessions in task manager when i openy have 5 windows open!!

its seems rediculous the software opens 3 times the amount of windows i have open

I don't want to get the 'Add Bookmark' popup prompt when I right click -> Bookmark Link, I just want it to bookmark the link.

Unchecking 'Show editor when saving' doesn't disable this popup.

I use 'right click -> Bookmark Link' a lot, so would really appreciate a fix, thanks :)

Firefox is my go to browser, pretty much the only one I use. I have logged into the akc.org webpage 1000s of times. Now, only on your browser (I tested two others), I get a blue button with a padlock image that reads "login to AKCAD," the I get sent to microsoft. I made sure my microsoft account was not hacked and it is not, and I logged out of it. I still keeping getting this; I added the succession of what happens in the attached images. Please figure out what the issue is. Thank you!

Every time I open FF it tries to download a file I previously downloaded. Even if I do it again, it won't stop it. How do I delete this queued action?

WSJ opinion pages won't load fully on Firefox. The same webpage works on other browsers. This has been a recurring issue ever since I switched over to Firefox. It's the main reason why I still keep Google Chrome around.

I've tried updating to the newest version of Firefox and also iOS. Also, clearing my cache/cookies works sometimes but the problem keeps coming back.

I wish to remove the ugly looking line between my custom home button and the first tab. You can find that on the top left. I already have userChrome.css set up and I found no help on the r/FirefoxCSS subreddit.

For anyone who can be of EXTRA help, I wish to also fully round the search bar in my "about:home" which you can see is underneath the FireFox logo. I want to add my own custom border radius of "2em" and remove the blue outline when selected.

When you add a page to your bookmarks a window appears that asks for a name and which folder you want to save it on. By default it recommends you a folder but there is a button to "un-hide" your full folders list. Is there a way to make this the default? As in, i dont have to click "un-hide" everytime (...because firefox never picks the folder i want)

Just to report Firefox 121.0.1 (64-bit) unable to upload any video formats on youtube and always having invalid video format error. I'm unable to upload even that videos what was already successfully uploaded some times ago. I using Microsoft Edge now to upload on youtube and it is fine with all my videos. Hope you can fix soon.

If I go to a website it creates a shortcut on my browser page each time. I only want to have the pages I use a lot on there. Is there some way of stopping each site from being added?

I have many folders and sub folders and before the new upgrade each sub folder would show the number of new messages. Now only the main sub folder shows and if there are messages only the first level local sub folders show new messages not the second level and third level.

The line ending with "Firef" may indicate that lines are truncated.

I imported my bookmarks, but they're not displaying in the bookmarks toolbar. I've tried hiding it and unhiding and restarting the program/my computer. The imported bookmarks can be seen when I go to "recent bookmarks" in the manage your bookmarks section. It also says that they're listed in the bookmarks menu, but they're not visible outside of the manage bookmarks settings window.

I was in a meeting and needed to show my screen. Clicked the button at bottom to share and schecked entire screen then allow....it said firefox wouldn't allow me to share because of firefox. I also tried to just share Acrobat and had same result. What setting or plugin do I need to set to allow screen sharing in Google meet, microsoft team and zoom meetings?

I used to be able to access my Wells Fargo account using Firefox (as recently as last Thursday Jan 11,2024). Now when I try to access the account, Wells Fargo no longer recognizes my sign-in information. The Wells Fargo internet customer service person I spoke to said I was the second customer within the last few days with a similar problem with Firefox. Both Chrome and Edge are not having similar problems. I have the latest version of Firefox, so possibly Wells Fargo changed something. I do not want to use Chrome or Edge because of the hundreds of trackers they allow. Does anybody have any ideas? How does Firefox check on the compatibility of Firefox with websites? Thank you. Firefox used to open the bookmarks to the left showing all the bookmarks, ever since that last update not the go right and aren't even the bookmarks I want, how do I change it back
