Whenever I click my mouse somewhere blank on a webpage firefox will always select some text/image despite being nowhere close to it. This does not happen to me on chrome.

I have tried installing free Outlook but it does not allow me transfer all my local folders (I have many) with all my history and information.

Is an update to Firefox due that will support this new modern authentication process or do I loose all my local folders?

A few weeks ago I accidentally allowed Firefox to Block Youtube from making Viewing suggestions to me. Now when I go to Youtube from Firefox, all I get is a Blank screen. I want to REVERSE THAT decision and ALLOW youtube to make suggestions to me. Please help me get back to AS IT WAS BEFORE, or if you could do that for me would be great . Thanks Anand

now your saying. aah. thats cause it cannot differentiate a ipv4 and a hostname.

The gethostbyname() function returns a structure of type hostent for the given host name. Here name is either a hostname or an IPv4 address

i wonder then what this browser does. not remembering by name. here thus the word never is better replaced by -> ask me again next time.

Hi Guys, I'm having trouble logging into Firefox on any of my devices even though i can pass all the password & security steps. When logged in, it asks me if want to connect any other devices then immediately logs me out.

On my main laptop i have all my bookmarks & passwords working but am not logged in, but i want to replicate this on another laptop.

Any ideas?

For a few days now whenever a new tab opens, either by clicking a link in search results or by clicking a link in an email, the cursor jumps to the bottom of the page and I have to scroll to the top of the page. I'm just getting started with Windows 11 on a new computer. What happened to cause this?

I just want to bring it to your attention, that since my latest Windows 11 updates, Firefox browser has been having browsing issues.

1. Basic or multiple tabs are no longer browsing as before. Pages such as: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, CNN, Microsoft home Page, Google, GoDaddy, and so on.

Please note: I have cleared the Cache and internet history, and this does not make any difference. The issue remains the same.

What is causing this basic browsing issue with this version of Firefox?

We followed the links below to block internet access in Firefox browser:

We downloaded the ADMX and ADML files. Using these files, we were able to locate Mozilla Firefox in Group Policy Management and successfully block all websites in the Firefox browser using the pattern :///*.

However, we encountered an issue with exceptions. We do not wish to block certain websites, including localhost. We attempted to use the "Exceptions to block websites" option, providing values such as ://msn.com/ to exclude specific sites. Unfortunately, this approach did not work as intended. For instance, msn.com is one of the websites we want to allow, among others and also localhost.

We require assistance with the following issue: "Exceptions to block websites" is not functioning properly within the group policy of Mozilla Firefox.

If you open this website: https://www.zonnebloem.nl/ with the option Enhanced Tracking Protection the cookiebot popup banner is not shown as the third party tracking cookie from domain https://consent.cookiebot.com is protected and NOT loaded.

Does this mean Mozilla Firefox sees the https://consent.cookiebot.com cookie as a third party tracking cookie that needs to be blocked as nobody gave consent to load the cookiebot consent popup?

Question 1: Is according to Mozilla Firefox https://consent.cookiebot.com a third party tracking cookie that needs to be blocked if you as a user want to have guarantees over your privacy online?

Question 2: Is it not strange to see Firefox blocking a widely used cookie consent system to protect users by giving consent to select which cookies will be set yes/no?

Please add features so that the recently visited page during the Firefox shortcut does not apply to the shortcut list. I only want to see a fixed shortcut on the shortcut page Even the pages I recently visited have been added to the shortcut, so I have to remove them daily. It's so inconvenient.

I'm having problems using Firefox in general. No websites will load properly except for the Firefox support site. It's not an internet issue because everything works fine when I use Google Chrome (I'm typing this from Chrome). I tried deleting my history and clearing caches/cookies but that didn't fix anything. I've included some screenshots of what I'm dealing with below.

Hey I've reinstalled my PC i installed Firefox. Login to Firefox Sync. And now it's empty. no tabs, no passwords, everything is gone. I usually do this every time and it work. I am sync my Android phone with all my passwords and bookmarks

New W11 computer. checked "always ask where to save files". Restarted Firefox. It's still automatically dumping downloads in Downloads rather than asking.

Why?

I cannot find, from the Menu bar, Tools, Settings, General, scroll to bottom to Config Editor I have not been able to find this "Config Editor". I also did not find .css file in that I might be able to modify. I am not understanding why the option isn't present in the settings for Firefox!
