Steps to reproduce problem. 1. Navigate to YouTube with Firefox for Android. 2. Open page of any video which has comments. 3. Switch webpage display mode to 'version for PC'. 4. Now the page layout top-to-bottom should be like: - player with main video - list of videos that may interest you - comments section 5. Expected behavior: load comments section below list of recommended videos, like Chromium based browsers do. 6. Actual behavior: Firefox fails to load comments section, perhaps some script doesn't fire up.

Version 112.1.0 does not show media control when playing YouTube and stops playing in the background. For example, with DTUBE playback, media control is present and background playback works as before. I activated the "video background playback fix" add-on, but it didn't help. On iOS, the version 112.1.0 has no issue with playing in background. What is the problem with Android?

Add the Play background option to videos and audio, pre-installed in settings, as it is in the Brave browser. The current Background Video Playback add-on does not fully play all video and audio background playback features, it does not fully work. No media notification while watching youtube videos (since Firefox 111 or earlier).

It was availabe recently, it was possible to play video in the background. Now it's no longer possible.

i checked on two different Android devices - the same issue.

Hello, suddenly when I try Mozilla and play youtube in this favourite browser, I can t have picture and picture anymore and play a video and do other things with my Redmi 5G phone. I looked in the settings and it s set on firefox the picture and picture, but as I said now it s not working anymore

Recently, the banner that usually appears when playing a video with Firefox (such as from youtube.com) has stopped appearing. I also cannot pause or play a video by clicking the controls on my headphones, which used to work. And finally, when playing a video or song from another app (eg. Newpipe), the video on Firefox does not automatically pause, which it used to to. I've tried updating both the app and my version of Android, but neither have helped. I would add images demonstrating what the media banner used to look like, but the "Browse" button simply does not work. Please help

Hi i have the video background play fix add on for Firefox but as of the last few days it stops working after a minute or so. I'll play a youtube video and turn off my phone's screen and after a short while it will stop playing, when i switch on the screen and open the app the video will play. This seems to only be with youtube though i tried with a vimeo video and it was fine so i assume this issue is only with youtube on firefox

ever since the latest update (and the version before it) I've encountered a problem with pasting saved user names and passwords into the login brackets.

Expected behaviour: A website is loaded; the website is a login page for which I have saved user data. For the login id and password bracket each Firefox suggests the information via dropdown menu. I choose the specific data set, after which the brackets are filled automatically by the app.

Encountered behaviour: I choose the specific data set, but the information is not filled into the brackets. The user data has to be entered manually for each bracket.

Been running Sync from day one and yesterday on my android firefox for some reason, even though I was offered the chance to enter my stored credentials while logging in, nothing happened when I selected them: neither account name nor login was filled in. Tried different sites for which I've stored credentials, with the same result.

Closing and reopening firefox and even rebooting my phone did not help. I've deleted the app's cache as well, no change. Anyone noticed something similar?

Running 110.0.1 with only ublock origin as an extension, nothing else. Mobile is a Oneplus 6m running Android 11.

The issue where Firefox on Android does apparent background restarts is still occurring in the most recent release builds.

It is 100% reproducible. Steps:

1. Go to https://www.theguardian.com/uk 2. Open in background tab one or two internal links to stories in that website 3. Firefox is hang for e.g. 40s then reloads from scratch all open tabs including to other sites 4. The device will behave as if it was recently restarted with all other apps doing UI refresh activity when you next access them

The repro steps are truly simple.

Should we raise this as an iss with the website instead? e.g. Chrome does not and never has had a problem like this on that website.

Recently when watching a video, or just viewing a web feed, and turning my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra to landscape view, a white screen appears and can not see anything else.

In Focus, autorotate, which I use frequently, suddenly stopped working yesterday. I tried turning it off/on a few times and uninstall/reinstall. No change.

Please help.

As I try to rotate the screen orientation while using Firefox Focus, the screen goes blank. This doesn't happen elsewhere on any other app on my device. I tried re-installing and restarting my phone, but I have the same problem. Anybody encounter this issue?

Video play screen goes blank when rotating to landscape. All controls disappear, sound continues. Blank grey screen is locked in landscape position with no. Only solution is force-close and reopen. Android One UI 5, Android 13, Samsung S20+ 5G

Videos in portrait play normally, but whenever they are rotated to landscape or fullscreened, they just display a gray screen. Audio still plays correctly but video does not work
