When I click a mailto link it brings up the GMail app. Instead I want the Yahoo Compose window. Several posts suggest various arcane methods. Either they do not apply or they require hacking. Has the situation improved?

How can I make mailto links go to the Compose window on mail.yahoo.com?

The Pizza Hut Rewards site won't complete login. It just has a o with \ through it. After a while, the reCAPTCHA will say that it timed out and need to check box again. I do that but, it still doesn't complete.

I called Pizza Hut Rewards and they told me to use Google Chrome (which I don't trust).

I have tried this in both regular and Private Browsing mode with same results.

Hello! For some reason I can't add separate icons for extension quick menus to the address bar area and am only able to add the extensions "master" button which shows a list of extensions without going to the settings page. I've tried to go to customize toolbar to add the extension icons to the bar but none of them show up, and I know for a fact that the extensions have icons, I've added them to the bar on other computers.

I recently noticed that in the settings it says "Your browser is being managed by your organisation". The certificate "ImportEnterpriseRoots" seems to be affected. I have seen guides saying to delete a registry key but I do not have a Mozilla folder in my policies.

It is worth noting I do run two anti virus software. Kaspersky total security and gridinsoft anti malware. Just wondering if there is a way to permanently remove this or if its just a side affect of my anti virus software.

My computer 'guru' reinstalled Win10 in order to correct a serious problem. ALL of my programs were gone and I was left with a raw Win10. 6/12/2023 was last date prior to the disaster. I reinstalled Firefox. Using the "firefox.exe -p" I can only find the default profile. I DO HAVE a full backup done using the Win7 Backup and Restore feature. How do I resurrect my most recent profile? I will need to find the files(s) manually from the b/u. When I did a Full Restore the bookmarks didn't appear. Where and what files am I looking for? My bookmarks keep multiplying and duplicating and I can't delete them. I've signed out on all other devices, refreshed FF, stopped sync, Other than a new user account, I'm not sure what else to do

An issue I am running into is with the paste option on Microsoft Word. I am clicking on keep source formatting in Word when I paste text, but the format doesn't carry over from the website I am copying it from. This is a Firefox issue because the format carries over when I paste a website's text using Microsoft Edge. Hopefully someone can solve this issue for me. Thank you.

Sir, I'm not sure, but I think my bookmarks vanished in combinaton with an upgrade. All of them are gone, and I very much would like to have them back! Sincerely Yours, Dan

My system:

Acer VERITON MN: VM4630G-i7477X 32GB Ram 256GB SSD program drive 1-TB HDD data drive Win10Pro 64-bit with Taskbar configuration manager "7+TaskbarTweaker" FireFox v 114.0.1 (64-bit)

Problem:

I normally keep five (5) (or more!) FireFox windows open with over 43 tabs between them.

Each window can have from 4 to 20 tabs.

Whenever I shutdown, reboot & restart FireFox the order of the FF-windows shown in the Taskbar is never the same.

Prior to shutting down I have ordered the FF-windows the way I want them, but upon rebooting and restarting FF the FF-windows are never in the same order.

What to do?

Is there a setting I've missed?

In Google Chrome there's an extension called lightening Reopen to keep the browser open in the background. Is there something like that for Firefox?

Hi I'm experiencing slowness especially in youtube thumbnails scrolling down. when video is playing if I click on settings to choose video quality etc it takes like 2 minutes to even open. This slowness not present in edge browser. I want to try older ver but I thought if someone might experiencing same or know what might be the problem

I have literally been crying for what seems like the past hour because I have been locked out of my actual firefox account. I didn't know how to make a "recovery key" before, and I never realized that forgetting this password would literally lock me out of all of my log-ins. Is there any phone number I can call? I need urgent help. I've been trying to guess my password by using stupid passwords I always tend to use, and that isn't working as I keep getting locked out. Can I get in touch with a developer or staff member who can please help me? I have been having issues with contributing to a certain forum. When I go to add a new line to a post, or upon deleting and retyping, the white space between the lines is eliminated.

This has a real impact on the legibility of my posts.

So I have the latest version of macOS Ventura, the latest version of Firefox, and the latest version of Roblox. Whenever I try to open a Roblox game from their website (yes, I know. Roblox now has the desktop app so you don't need the website to open a game), it opens the app, but not the link, which means it doesn't open the game :( Does anybody know how to get Firefox to open the link and not just the app? (Btw no hate on firefox)
