My searches (regardless of Engine) are coming up in Russian. I don't speak Russian. It does not seem to be the search engine, and does not happen in Chrome, only Firefox.

Recently, as in the last two days, when I am in the process of filling in forms online, Firefox auto-fill offers me the choice of my phone number and a phone number that is unknown to me. I am 100% certain that I never erroneously entered this second number when filling in a previous form. The number bears no resemblance to my own. How the number came to be in Firefox auto-fill is a mystery to me. I used Canada 411 reverse look-up to check the number and discovered that it is a valid phone number belonging to a person I do not know and have never had any contact with. My question, then, is how did his phone number end up in Firefox on my computer? Is it possible I have been hacked?

I cannot connect to Amazon site, says unusual payment activity, secure connection failed, and the name Stanford Health Care, that I have never heard of and have no connection to them. I need to have this corrected. Please reply. Rosalie Koire, roko8@att.net.

My connected devices shows one of my Windows 11 laptops, but not the other, and it still shows the Windows 10 desktop which I replaced.

How do I add my  2nd Windows 11 laptop to the device list and then sync everything from the first laptop to the second?

After I've had a window open for between 5 minutes and half an hour, the address bar stops working. I need to open a new window in order for it to work again. I can click on the favorites on the homepage and those work but if I search or input an address into the address bar nothing happens.

My microphone has recently stopped working on Firefox, and Firefox only.

It works in Chrome, Edge, and Opera.

I have tried reinstalling Firefox (and testing the mic with a clean install), reinstalling all of my audio drivers, and even changing the frequency of my Windows sound to a lower one. Nothing has worked.

My laptop is a Lenovo Slim Pro 9i (if it matters) and my microphone is an Intel Smart Array.

I have completely run out of ideas, so anything will help at this point.

I can't get any app from Google to stay open. It's a nightmare. I've restarted several times. Doesn't help. Everyother page is working.

Is this a bug in the latest version?

For a number of months, I have not been able to update firefox to my Linux system. I download it and opened the downloaded file, opened various files, but nothing happens. I have tried using various methods to download and update it, but I continue to get a message that update is available. I'm currently using 121.0.1. I have a number of download files in my download folder, such as..."/home/jim/Downloads/firefox-128.0(1).tar.bz2" I tried to uninstall and reinstall "How to remove Mozilla Firefox from Ubuntu"

   sudo apt remove firefox.
   sudo rm -Rf /usr/bin/firefox.
   sudo rm -Rf /usr/loca/firefox.
   sudo snap remove firefox.

and then this "Install Firefox" First, add the Mozilla signing key $ sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 6DCF7707EBC211F. And then install the latest version of Firefox with this command: $ sudo apt install firefox. These commands seem to complete normally, but I continue to get "update available" messages. I give up. I've done everything I can think of. Help would be greatly appreaciated. Jim

If watching any video in full screen, upon restoring Firefox back to "normal view" the entire program changes its position on my monitor. In regular mode (IE; not full screen) the position of the program on the screen - flush with my top and bottom panels - but NOT full screen is unaffected when closing and re-opening Firefox. The change in screen position is only when going from full screen view to non-full screen mode. OS: Ubuntu MATE 22.04.4 LTS 64 bit Firefox Ver: 115.14.0 ESR 64bit

Pressing Alt in Firefox in Linux (Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Linux Mint 22.xx) brings up a top menu, which is hugely annoying as I'm always trying to to a window action if I'm pressing Alt.

The suggested solution is to go to about:config and change ui.key.menuAccessKeyFocuses to "false".

But this keeps reverting itself. (Between every other reboot?). Alt will again bring up this menu.

How can I permanently disable this shortcut?

I don't seem to be able to get all information to go to my primary email address, some goes to a secondary email, which is inactive.

I recently updated my macOS to Ventura 13.6.9 along with updating to the newest Firefox Nightly; now whenever I try to launch Firefox, it just hangs and will never load the start page. If I give it about 5-10 minutes, it will eventually load the favorites bar, and then when I click into the address bar to type, it hangs again. If I give it another few minutes, I can type but hitting enter/return, nothing happens.

If I restart my MBP and hold shift to boot into safe mode, Firefox loads perfectly fine with no issues or hangs at all. I'm just not sure what is different that would be causing it to hang when booting into regular mode?

Intermittently find browser open on its own @ homepage without any action on my part.

I have a subscription to the FAZ and have always been able to read it in Firefox. Now that I have a new computer with the latest Windows 11 and the latest Firefox, I can no longer open the page https://zeitung.faz.net/. But it works fine in Google Chrome. Please tell me which settings I need to change so that I don't have to change browsers

I got a new Macbook Pro recently and set it up by basically copying my iMac onto it. All works great. Except that the MBP doesn't show up with it's synced open taps on my iMac or my iphone. The iMac doens't show up on the MBP either.

Have I maybe copied some setting that makes the two machines (iMAc and MBP) thinkt they're one and the same? How can I "separate" the devices so that they show up in each other's Synced Tabs lists, respectively?
