As I said in the title, the spellchecker add-on I use, LanguageTool, does not work on this site. I am not fine with that. What's the best way to get it working here? Any answers that amount to "you don't" are not acceptable.

I need help with print. type settings on Firefox. When I print labels, the orientation is not right, and there are a couple of other things not working properly with printing. Need someone to help me determine what exactly the problem is. Our software is LightSpeed (cloud based retail platform). They don't understand why it isn't working and suggested I contact you,

I have the Dutch and English dictionary installed and both show up in the context menu. But at random, only the Dutch dictionary is checked and the English one not. The Spellchecker then only uses the Dutch and I have to manually enable English again. This is really at random. For example on YouTube: I write a comment and English is checked. But another time on YouTube, English suddenly is not checked and have to enable it again in the context menu. So not a huge deal but still remarkable.

I have the "Always ask you where to save files" check box checked in settings, but it still just automatically saves everything to my downloads folder and I keep having to then cut and paste the file where I want it. I also have "Ask whether to open or save files" checked. Any idea how to fix this, so it will ask me where to save downloads?

Hi, Could you add a simple feature for autoscrolling pdf files in the built-in viewer ? It would be a great help when playing sheet music, etc.

Just: start/stop (with hotkeys) and scroll speed setting. It exists for chrome: Tab Scroller - Guitar Tab Auto Scroll, but I would prefer to use firefox of course.

 An update or two (maybe more?) ago, the plus sign with which we add shortcuts to the Firefox browser home page/new tab page disappeared, so now we can no longer add shortcuts on the home page/new tab page.  Please help.  I am running Firefox Version 129.0.2 (64-bit) on a Windows 11 Pro 64-bit if that makes any difference.  Thanks.

Hi Why is it everytime I download something it has to open in the Firefox browser to view? And why is this happening when I scan to my computer? I want things saved to my computer, like documents and scanned information?

Long ago I developed muscle memory to type in the main part of a website domain and complete it with Ctrl-Enter in the address bar.

That supposedly adds the www. prefix at the beginning and .com at the end.

Works great except that it seems to append "http:// to the beginning. That often results in a warning that I'm trying to go to an insecure domain.

How can I modify this behavior to append "httpS://" to the beginning to avoid all of these warnings?

I mistakenly dragged a text from a search box and dropped it on my browser page. If this text is a url (Ex: www.some_site.com), Firefox will navigate to that page. How do I prevent Firefox from opening dropped links on pages?

When I click the search bar a few shortcuts show up. Great. There are currently 4 or 5 and are sites I regularly go so it's nice. Youtube, Twitch, a couple sites I use for forums, and then there's THE PORN. Right... So I'm trying to remove that specific search bar suggestion. The others can stay, but I don't want THE PORN SITE show up by simply clicking the search bar. I've tried looking for answers but nothing talking about this exactly, only other similar topics. I know I can go into the Search menu in Settings and uncheck the Shortcuts option, but that removes them all. I'd like to continue to use it for the other sites. There's never been a way that I can see to CHOOSE which sites end up there, that would be the easiest.

I'm very satisfied with the Containers. It separates my personal life from my office life.

But when the browser launches, the default page is container-less. I have to open another tab with a specific container to start browsing.

It would be best if the browser lets a user set a default Container per browser: - I'd like to set 'Work' Container as a default for my office PC - I'd like to set 'Privare' Container as a default for my personal PC

Hello, recently I switched to this browser from another browser for some specific reason and I noticed that dropdown menu is way too big compared to my previous browser. Is there any way to fix it and make it more compact? To better explain you what I mean, see those screenshots: First screenshot is on Firefox, second screenshot with exact webpage is on Vivaldi browser. You can see vast difference how compact is Vivaldi dropdown menu compared to Firefox.

Restore gadget screen width to default 1/3 of screen, not 1/2. Gadgets are now too wide for easy reading, they were always 1/3 of the screen until recently. Did I inadvertently make that change, or was it part of some update?

bold textdownloading only produces " .part " files in my downloads directory. I had previously attempted a large file download but error message said it was not completed. Now cannot download anything

I put in a web address and password for a bank and hit enter - it doesn't go through and comes back to the log-in page It was working. I don't know what happened
