Hello,

Couple of days ago I could not start up Mozilla Firefox due to a corrupted file. Naturally, I was immediately worried about my bookmarks, extensions, browse history...

In the end I re-installed Mozilla Firefox -without removing my old folders on C-drive and in AppData- and was able to recover my old bookmarks and extensions just fine.

However, for my old browse history I am not so sure. I have not found a way to restore those.

Could someone help?

I use Firefox Nightly 131, because it have vertical tabs, but why you still have a empty top bar? can I hide it?What's the difference between that and horizontal tabs? It takes up just as much space.

I was working on a work site and every time I wanted to delete an item a pop up would appear asking if I wanted to confirm deleting. I was tired of confirming and there was a box offering to stop the pop up. I clicked it and now I can not delete anything. I checked settings and added the site to allow popups that did not help. How do I fix this?

So I turned on my computer and then opened FireFox and then all my important data is gone. My bookmarks and my passwords just vanished. I've used the same browser for years and have never had an issue until now. It's sucks cause there is years worth of information gone. I tried to load my information form an "Old Firefox data" folder but it has been no luck so far. I am desperately trying to get my information back to the way it was.

If an URL already have many tags or longish tags I can no longer see suggested tags when starting to type tags. Image example illustrates. This URL already have the following tag list:

1942, Air_Ministry, boost, cruise, memorandum, MP, rpm, Spitfire, Spitfire_MkIX, Spitfire_MkV, Spitfire_MkVI

Old behavior was if started to type ", spi" it would list suggestions:

Spitfire Spitfire_MkIX Spitfire_MkV Spitfire_MkVI

Easy & clear to select from.

Now it lists all already existing tags before each suggestion:

Suggestions are scrolled right invisible outside the input box.

Who thought this was a good new feature? It adds nothing, I can already see existing tags, why would I want to see them repeated for each new suggested tag (while not actually seeing the suggested new tag)?

I have a Mac with Sonoma. Somehow a while ago I ended up with Firefox ESR, which I was told that will not be supported after September.

I am a non-technical user. While I do have Safari and Chrome, I would prefer to continue using Firefox.

Could you please let me know the steps to execute to somehow switch from the ESR version to the current normal version without loosing settings, bookmarks or ending up with problems? Thanks in advance.

Hello, My Firefox would not open today.Gave XLU version error. I put a clean install as suggested by support. I think I got my bookmarks back. But my passwords are gone. This is a real drag!

Walmart.com now uses a Press & Hold link to log in. I cannot use it in Firefox 129.0.1. I have to use Chrome. Thge link is supposed to change, when you click on it, but it doesn't change in Firefox. I was using a VPN, but even when I turn it off, it still doesn't work.
