No videos on any platform will play when I try to open them in Firefox. They are forever stuck on the thumbnail image of the video, and nothing happens when I hit play. I've had this happen a couple times and was able to resolve before by installing updates and uninstalling my Mozilla VPN, but this time nothing has worked. I've tried pretty much every solution I could find online:

• Updating Firefox
• Updating my computer
• Running in Incognito
• Running in troubleshooting mode
• Allowing autoplay
• Disabling hardware acceleration
• Disabling addons
• Clearing cache and data
• Enabling/disabling DRM content
• Installing Windows Media Pack

I'm running Windows 10, and videos seem to work fine in Edge, if that makes any difference.

Firefox is my favourite browser so I prefer using it in all my online activities. When I go to Adobe Firefly though, I consistently get a warning that this browser is not compatible and they suggest using Chrome, Safari or the latest version of Firefox !!! I am using the latest version available, 127.0.2 but Adobe does not detect it correctly. I have to switch to Chrome, that I'm not very fond of. I saw that a similar issue was posted 10 months ago but it's now archived and I can't even include a link to it here :( So, I hope this comment helps in case others have the same problem. Hello, I Signed into and began using a New Firefox ACCOUNT Yesterday.Today,I found that I had forgotten that I formerly had a Mozilla account which is apparently still ACTIVE from 10/14/2021. I'm confused as to WHY it's called MOZILLA... Is it called Firefox or Mozilla for this Browser... and I don't want two Accounts... so I need to eliminate one. My iMac is Auto inserting My Password and I'm not familiar yet with whatever Browser I have, to locate a way to see the Password it signed me in on... ? the one I created yesterday... or the one that was created in 2021... So.. please tell me what the Browser is called today... Firefox or Mozilla... or Mozilla Firefox... ??? and I'll begin AGAIN... OR CAN YOU FIX THIS FOR ME WITH JUST ONE ACCOUNT, and I'll create another Password. My email has NOT CHANGED for either account... ey47ey@yahoo.com Please advise me how to establish my Account ASAP so I can continue my work. When I search for a Hebrew-language video on Firefox the resulting link text overlaps with the English text “Translate this page” for all YouTube videos. I don’t want any page translated and my Firefox Translation settings include no languages. The overlap only occurs on YouTube video links. How can I get rid of the “Translate this page” text? Thanks.

Hi, I have been having this issue for a while. The search suggestions in the address bar are missing. I mean that the entire drop-down box never shows up. There are no search engine suggestions. There are no history based or bookmarks based suggestions.

The search suggestions is ticked in the settings. And I also disabled hardware acceleration.

Steps I took to troubleshoot: 1. Refreshed Firefox through troubleshoot mode. 2. Restarted firefox in add-ons disabled mode. 3. Tried creating new profile. 4. Tried using Firefox nightly and Dev builds. 5. Got fed up. Switched to Floorp. 6. I also tried a bunch of about:config modifications, that were suggested in earlier such support posts. None to any avail. 7. Tried it on an entirely different windows. And again, the minute I log in, the search suggestions are gone.

This is when I realized, the issue was popping up whenever I log in using my mozilla account. I tried any firefox alternative without logging in and the search suggestions work. The minute I log in with firefox account/mozilla account. The search suggestions stop. This has to be something due to sync is what I guessed. And I stopped sync. And reinstalled. Then the issue resolved. But the minute I log in it reverts back. And no search suggestions.

The search suggestions do not work on any windows based system. I checked my android device and suggestions are working. Sadly, I do not have access to any other platform.

So at this point I was very much frustrated. So someone please help me out. I will give whatever logs you need. But fix this. I need search suggestions. At least bookmarks and history. I believe it to be a core part of the experience.

Not even recently searched are in suggestions. That drop-down box itself is missing.

I am trying to print a long webpage into a PDF format. When I open the Print preview window, I noticed that pages after the 255th page are all blank. I tried changing the destination but this seems to be a persistent issue. I tried the same procedure with Microsoft Edge and the entire page was able to be seen in the Print preview window.

Hello, My website www.bodymindwholeness.com will not loan on Mozilla browser for over 6 months now. My website loads just fine on all other browsers, just not Mozilla? I have tried to adjust every setting I can imagine with no luck. Why wont Mozilla allow my website to load and what can I do to fix the issue? Thank you Michael Hofrath

I want to print a Firefox PDF document. It is a credit card statement downloaded off the issuer's website. The PDF file Properties dialog shows Page Size 6.92 x 14 in (Portrait). The thumbnail preview of the document shows the pages in the 6.92 x 14" format. I want to print this document to 8.5 x 11" paper WITHOUT HAVING THE DOCUMENT SHRUNK TO FIT THE SMALLER PAPER. Shrinking the document results in a printout that I cannot read without a magnifier. This is unacceptable. I don't care if the bottom 3" of each page are cut off (mostly that 3" is blank anyway). All I want is to be able to print out a document I can read. NOTE: I have tried using the print dialog option "Size to [choose % magnification]," instead of "fit to page width." This does not work. The print image stubbornly refuses to magnify, the print preview still shows a legal sized document crammed into letter sized paper, and I'm still stuck with a shrunken document with teeny tiny text that I can't read. NOTE: I have also explored using the "simplified" print setting instead of "original." All that gives me is a text explanation and the original document itself disappears. So no joy there either.

I recently converted to Firefox from Chrome. I use wikipedia a lot, and am used to being able to quickly enter 'w' into the search bar to bring that up as the first result. This was something that I could do without hassle on Chrome, but not something that I can consistently do on Firefox. My settings are synced across devices, yet the first result for 'w' in the search bar is (was) 'www.google.com' on my desktop, and 'wikipedia.org' on my laptop. I created a bookmark for wikipedia.org named 'w', which didn't work, I wiped any instance of 'google.com' from my search history and now 'w' in the search bar gives me 'www.youtube.com' instead, wonderful.

Any advice would be great

When I try to click on certain key buttons in webpages, nothing happens. examples: "Sign in" won't sign me in. A field that lets me change number of products desired won't let me fill change the number. Only seems to be executable (CTA?) buttons. Thanks for any help.

I am getting like 10 crashed tabs per day. I have been using firefox for years and about to dump it... I have brave, chrome and others on my computer and getting ready to dump FF. You need to figure this crap out. If its broke, I dont need it.

Hello, I cannot log in to Twitter/x.com with the Firefox browser. There is a constant loop when registering. Firefox browser does not connect Twitter/X.com.

Every time I open my Firefox browser (it is my default), even during a session when the browser has not closed, I get a pop-up prompting me to download an update. After numerous attempts to download the update, it still did not show up in my download folder nor did I see the download run or prompt a "finish". I checked download history and finally see that it says it installed on 6/25 but I am still getting repeated prompts to download and install an update.

This is maddening. I am using Windows 10 Enterprise on an HP Elite Desk.

Please help me fix this!

I opened Tbird to see what version the new Ubu 24.04 installed (115.12.0, which I discovered wouldn't be published, so I downloaded v.r.2. In this set of FF (127.0.1) pages now, the mouse wheel will not scroll. It works everywhere else in my installation (24.04).

Ideas?

FF settings have "smooth scrolling" checked; unchecked it did nothing to improve. mouse is a ~recent Logitech (M317c) which as noted, works in all other apps.
