Hi there, my hard disk failed and with a new hard disk I am trying to reconnect Thunderbird so I can get my emails on the laptop. But I can't remember my password and on the login page for emails I can't find an option to request password reset. Please help, don't want to have to stop using Thunderbird

Hello, Thunderbird crashed and asked me to send a crash report. My question is not about the crash or bug itself, I rather care about my data. I accidentally clicked on Submit and later read that it contains "Sensitive Data" as in a raw dump of the state of my E-Mail client. As far as I've read people can have access to this over the web (via crash-stats.mozilla.org/ I pressume)
Question: Can I have my crash-report removed/withdrawn? I don't want to have the possibility of personal data, passwords, etc. on the internet.

In TB 102.14.0 (64-bit) on Windows this digital signatures were shown as valid. However, digitsal signatures of emails send from other clients (e.g. Thunderbird, Nine from 9folders) are shown as valid.

I have added this address to "collected addresses" and enabled the option in junk mail settings but it still is identified. My DKIM extension reports that DKIM is valid and signed by NY Times. SPF is a pass and DMARC is a pass. I have enabled adaptive junk filtering and each time it comes in I click the "not junk" button.
I have enabled the adaptive junk filter logging but the log is always empty. Messages from other sources seem to be ok. My messages are being forwarded to me from DYNU's message forwarding service.

Hello, after updating to the latest version of Thunderbird 115, there is a problem that during the print preview, unnecessary free space is generated (an email normally has 3 pages in the reading view, and on the printout there are 6 pages, including 3 almost empty). I am attaching an example of an e-mail that does not contain personal data but there are unnecessary spaces.

In Thunderbird 1153.1 (MacOS), it appears that the "Delete" button next to the header information on a message whose content display is blocked per privacy settings is applied not to that individual message but rather to the folder containing it. There's (fortunately!!) a confirmation dialog warning that that entire folder would be deleted unrecoverably, but it seems non-intuitive and dangerous that the button's scope should change depending on the content display status. When the content is displayable, the button applies only to the individual message, as I'd expect.

Previously one could tap view, and see exactly all the transmission details of emails, especially spam or phishing, and I could highlight, copy and paste to send to SpamCop or phishing.gov.uk so the sender could be traced and blocked. This feature seems to have gone with the new update. Sorry if thick but am 79 yo Geri. Cheers and thanks

I am using the latest stable release of Thunderbird client on Windows 11 and just today it's been asking me multiple times for a password to my Outlook account. I have kept adding a one time app password through the official Microsoft website under account management but it's been asking a few times that it needs a password.
Do you know if there's been any outages to the Microsoft servers or what this issue could be related to? Is there a way I can send any logs directly to you that might help find the issue?

This all worked in the prior version, something changed in 115.3.1 (64-bit)
Firefox is the default browser. I tried it with Edge as the default browser, same problem. It didn't used to pop up a window to login.

I have two Mac systems. An M1 2020 MacBook Pro and a 2014 Intel Mac mini, macOS Monterey on both systems. I use the email client "Postbox" which is based on Thunderbird. When I saw the announcement for Thunderbird 115 Supernova I thought I'd give it a try. Installed on the MacBook Pro, played around a bit but ended up uninstalling it. Now on the MacBook Pro, I keep getting the attached image where the email body should be. It only happens on the MacBook Pro, so I'm thinking it must have something to do with the Thunderbird installation/removal. What do I have to do/delete/change to have this go away? Thanks.
